[ CW // character death , blood ] « When you love a lamb, you hold its neck while you bleed it. Cain raises his arms & pleads: 'Close your eyes'. » — Lórien & Draean 《 comm by xMitzuru on vgen 》 #worldofwarcraft #warcraftart

Art of two red-haired twin blood elves lying on the floor, mirroring each other in a fetal position. The one on the right is dead and has blood and dirt on his face, hands, and clothes, holding his twin's face with his unbloodied right hand. The one on the left can only stare longingly at the dead one. His clothes are clean.

Day 461 of asking for cross region play! Let me play with my partner & friends! Many of us have people we'd love to play WoW with, but the different regions or having to start wholly anew keeps us apart. Time to change that! #Warcraft #WoW #CrossRegion

😭😭😭 ok i read some stuff abt the first one and it's frustrating but not unexpected coming from blizzard, but wdym lack of QA team? also, the dissonance between short stories/books/whatever and in-game story will never stop amusing me, like?? ok man. Lórien's tapping into the void manifests the same way if Ervos is involved, but most of the time it's just deep purple too for minor things.

000

❝ ⠇dani 💉 Halduron's lover boy @feuerwings.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

especially when shrouding a room by devoiding it of colors. Even if their manifested form is surrounded by purple mist, their void magic is literally mocking what the word may mean. I mean, even their manifested form (harpy eagle) is black and white lol. Only color there would be the mist.

❝ ⠇dani 💉 Halduron's lover boy @feuerwings.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

your way when he uses it, and his void form is a dark navy blue as well. I always liked the idea of his tendrils being in constant movement as well, just like the waves 🙂‍↕️ Finally, we have Ervos. They are a void creature already, but differ from the use of purple-blue hues to using black and white +

❝ ⠇dani 💉 Halduron's lover boy @feuerwings.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

was "backed up" by the eclipse during BFA. Then we have Anton, whose void magic manifests more like the depths of the ocean, with the colors and the sensations (?) of it. He was always attached to the sea, so ofc it had to manifest similarly somehow. Lowkey it's as if a giant wave is coming +

❝ ⠇dani 💉 Halduron's lover boy @feuerwings.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

white glow to cosmic shadows, with colors like vibrant violet, deep blue and pitch-black. Dark silhouettes with faint traces of light, similar to an eclipse! To her, everything revolves around the idea of Elune’s true power being Her shadow (dark side of the moon yada yada), and this heresy +

❝ ⠇dani 💉 Halduron's lover boy @feuerwings.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

This also made me think of the different ways the void manifests in my 3 void-touched characters. Lyraessa is pretty simple, as the aesthetic of it takes the look/shape of lunar magic. Cosmic-like, if you will. She switches between holy (lunar) magic and void, with the hues changing from a +

❝ ⠇dani 💉 Halduron's lover boy @feuerwings.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I mean, besides the translucent extra arms she manifests (still debating if she is doing that with lunar magic or simply void), she will be having some tendrils/tentacles sprouting from her 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️. Curious as to whether they could make a crown shape above her head–

worse in this case, I think, because Lyraessa would be tagged as an heretic and despised for daring to taint Elune’s teachings like she did. A traitor in every sense of the word, and yet that means nothing to Elyrisse. That's her sister ☹️☹️☹️ Her baby sister whom she failed to protect ☹️☹️☹️

❝ ⠇dani 💉 Halduron's lover boy @feuerwings.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Got inspired by that one Amirdrassil side quest when Kelestra wanted to bury Koroleth, but faced rejection because she was a Primalist. I remember seeing that and deciding that Ely would face something similar when she tried to bring her sister home to be buried with their family. It would be +

100

❝ ⠇dani 💉 Halduron's lover boy @feuerwings.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

I would make it canon but I want the actual ending where Ely takes Lyra's body to Amirdrassil to bury her there and have her access denied. 'Antigone' was such a wonderful play to me, so I wanted to recreate the scene of "Polynices was a rebel and a traitor, and you know it." "He was my brother."

100

❝ ⠇dani 💉 Halduron's lover boy @feuerwings.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Listening to 'Thunder Bringer' made me think of a Bad Ending AU where Elyrisse decides to let all her Moonhunters get eaten by the void –courtesy of Lyra– and join the PotDM because she doesn't want to kill Lyraessa & Theselas. Plus, she wants her family back and to see her wife alive 😭
