If you're yet to get around to reading our #Taegi reveals from last weekend's Round 2, here's a sampler of our Round 2 Reveals: Day 1

Round 2 Day 1 Reveals: A Sneak Peek

Snippet 1 - Taehyung’s eyes map out the route of least interference from here to the front door, running through all the potential pitfalls as if he were cataloging a sports play. If he’s quick and keeps his eye on the door, he can make it without anyone noticing.

Snippet 2 - What would Yoongi possibly have to offer Taehyung if he were to stop by for a chat?

What would Yoongi talk about besides the violence he’d seen, the life he’d lived?

Snippet 3 - “Seriously?”

The voice comes from just behind him, low and unmistakably unimpressed.

Taehyung startles so violently he nearly drops the towel, turning around in one abrupt motion, heart jumping into his throat.

➍ little snippets from our ➍ lovely stories, revealed for Round ➋: Day ➋!!

Round 2 Day 2 Reveals: A Sneak Peek

Snippet 1 - He tucks them under his arm as he exits. He’ll have to make sure he keeps them hidden from Yoongi as he doesn’t want him to know what he’s doing.

Not yet, anyway.

Snippet 2 - “Were you trying to kill me?”

His rough voice was… yeah, his voice was something Yoongi didn’t have the time to analyse right now.

Snippet 3 - “Did you transport a grandmother's house here as is?” Yoongi asks.

“Funny you say that. Because yes, most of this stuff is from my grandmother's house! I hauled it all after she passed away.”

Snippet 4- He’s met with the most annoyingly gorgeous smile he’s ever seen—boxy and bright, yet sexy and young, boyish and attractive and…

This is a problem.

If you're yet to read the final four reveals of our season, here's an 𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐞-𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐞 so you know what's waiting for you!

Round 2 Day 3 Reveals: A Sneak Peek

Snippet 1- Yoongi freezes for a moment, repeating the words in his head. Taehyung is back in town. Taehyung… Kim Taehyung. He has not felt this kind of nervous shiver in years.

Snippet 2- Taehyung was the same with everyone else. Still loud, still too much, still making everyone smile. Nothing had changed.

Except with Yoongi.

With Yoongi, Taehyung was different.

Snippet 3- “Oh, you don’t look very old,” Taehyung noted politely.

Yoongi found it hard to believe that Taehyung didn’t notice the tension, but he did an excellent job at pretending that it simply didn’t exist.

Snippet 4- To Yoongi Hyung, his presence was a pleasant surprise; to Taehyung, his presence was a shipwreck.

AU: A/B/O Dynamics, AU: Regency, Unrequited Love Second Chances
Summary:
At a young age, Kim Taehyung stood at the gates of the Beomeo estate and offered his heart to Min Yoongi, only to have it dismissed as a childish whim. While Yoongi sought glory at sea; Taehyung was left to endure the silence.

Now, the young man who loved him is gone. In his place is a man of rules and decorum, a governess who has learned that hope is a luxury he can no longer afford. Min Yoongi returns not as the boy he adored, but as a battle-scarred Captain haunted by years of lost memories and a box of unanswered letters. When life forces them into the same drawing room, Taehyung hides behind his duties, using his young charges as a shield against the man who shattered his world.

In a world of rigid decorum and unspoken shame, can a heart that was once discarded ever be reclaimed? Or are some silences too loud to ever be broken?

After a messy farewell and five years of silence, Taehyung is back in town. For Yoongi, the quiet walls of his bookstore aren't enough of a sanctuary to keep the ghosts of their past out anymore.

“I am Taehyung.” That damn boxy smile. “Your almost roommate.”

Yoongi paused.

“My what?”

“Almost roommate.”

Yoongi stared at him for a beat, trying to make the words behave logically in his head.

They didn’t.

“What does ‘almost’ even means?”

Taehyung tilted his head slightly, like the answer should be obvious but he was willing to explain anyway.

“It means I live here.” He said, as it was the simplest thing in the world. “And you live here. So… we are almost roommates.”

After a long-term breakup, Yoongi moves into a new apartment, expecting only solitude. Instead, he discovers he’s not alone: his mysterious new roommate, Taehyung, never seems to leave.
