Disclosure should begin early, develop gradually, and remain open to revisiting across the life course. Not a single conversation but an ongoing process through which the person develops increasingly complex understandings of conception, identity, family and genetic relationships. #ESHREjc

Early, planned disclosure of donor conception is supported by evidence gathered so far. Talking honestly, age-appropriately, and as an ongoing conversation, not a one-off reveal. Longitudinal studies show the advantages of disclosure before age seven in adolescence and early adulthood. #ESHREjc
