I have some questions about this Chirp listing.

A bundle entry in an audiobook store. The bundle is titled classic Capers and Whodunnits. The first book listed is Heart of Darkness, by Joseph Conrad.

I’ve spent the evening with Mom, filling in for her usual caregiver. It’s been great. Alzheimer’s has taken so much of her memory, but her core personality. 1/2

Moonrise decided to let me have the Kindle back while he works more on napping. I am therefore off to read a while. Later!

Tuxedo cat Moonrise curled up, all four white paws tucked close together, head rolled most of the way over so that his white goateed chin points nearly straight up. His mouth is fairly slightly open, baring a little of his fangs. He is resting deeply and comfortably.

Sunset and I agree that @cstross.bsky.social wrapped up the Laundry Files series really well. Sunset would like to have seen more scenes featuring the cat, but she’s like that. I’m notoriously finicky about humor and found the balance of humor and horror to be excellent.

Moonrise is a stumpy-tailed cat. This afternoon I saw him rolling back and forth playing with a catnip toy as usual, then doing something unfamiliar. I got a better look, and discovered he was chasing his lil’ tail round and round. Not for long, but he seemed pleased with the results.

Upon further consideration, Moonrise does acknowledge it’s a very fine afternoon and the petting has been very good. He is purring with satisfaction.

I’ve got this toilet chair in the living room for in case I had an episode of not being able to stand/walk at the wrong time. This is a new pad to go under it. The cats have decided it’s just great for their purposes.
