Day 6: Allergy As an unarmored dungeon scout, Rusty tends to go through a good number of healing potions during expeditions. However, his guild's alchemist used a different recipe for this batch, and Rusty just so happens to have an allergy to one of the new ingredients. Alt text has the goods.

Rusty on his back, clutching his swelling, reddening belly as if trying to hold it together. Turns out that the healing potion he just drank came from a batch that, unbeknownst to Rusty, was made using a new recipe that includes silver apples; a magical ingredient which the fox is severely allergic to; the apples make him inflate rapidly and uncontrollably if he eats them (or anything that calls for them in the recipe, even in small amounts), so if someone doesn't find the fox and deflate him soon, his time as a dungeon scout may be ending with a bang. At least the potion still healed all his wounds first...

Day 4: Resist (late) While on their way to a dungeon, Max and Rin got ambushed by a swarm of balloons, and it looks like they've got Rin (and even turned him into a balloonie so they can carry him away)! Can Max and Rin resist their foes' onslaught, or is their adventure doomed to end with a bang?

Max the cat and Ringo the coyote being attacked by a monster house of living balloons and balloon animals. Rin has already been turned into a balloonie version of himself and is crying out to Max as a couple of balloon dogs swell up on him, intending to carry the coyote away, but ready to pop themselves and make him inflate even more if necessary. Max has grabbed Rin's arm, and the scared cat's weight is barely enough to keep the pair grounded as he prepares to slash at an approaching balloon with his sword. There's yellow scraps on the ground, likely from a balloon that had sacrificed itself to transform Ringo.

Day 2: Accident Ringo accidentally drinks a mana potion and only realizes his mistake when he starts swelling with volatile mana. One way or another, this will be the last time James lets the coyote find his own potions. Read the alt for a better story. James: @syringeinthedark.bsky.social

Ringo swelling up with volatile mana after accidentally downing an entire mana potion that he had mistaken for an energy potion; he'd been tired when he bought it from James and both potions look (and taste) quite similar anyway. James, unable to do much to help Rin, is pointing toward the street and telling the soon-to-be mana blimp of a coyote to get out of town before he gets too big and crushes any buildings, or worse, pops and takes the entire town with him.
