And even just the social parts of it are weird because even though he wasn't with me nearly as long as some of them have, everyone who knows me or met me came to associate us as two parts of a whole, no shaye without Henry, no Henry without shaye, it's been difficult

I still have all the others to take care of, yes, but none of them have ever required a level of dedication to the degree that Henry did And now that he's gone it's just been hard for me to really know what to do with myself I guess, and I am still trying to figure it out

I just put aside so much of my life, interests, hobbies, friends, over the last two years because he needed me to give that time and effort up for him Even when people came over to visit me a lot of the time I was having to disappear to care for him every so often

It's kind of weird and sad like, how much of me Henry took with him when he passed It's difficult to explain to people because it's hard to understand unless you have dedicated a significant amount of time to being a caretaker for a disabled / chronically ill / etc animal / person
