Recently YouTube's links got 2 times longer. They added Source Identifier in them for the sole purpose of collecting data. You can delete it, and the link will still just work.

https://youtube.com/xyz?si=abc
Everything before the ? Is the actual link to the video, everything afterwards is a source identifier

Sometimes, YouTube links have time codes so people can link specific parts of a video, for example

https://youtube.com/xyz?si=abc&t=69

You can remove the source identifier and the & symbol, but retain the t=69 after the ?

Why should you delete that?

1. You post that link on social media. Google crawler finds it, checks the database and now knows this account on other social media belongs to you

2. I click on your link and now Google knows our accounts are connected
