That was a beautiful, heartfelt ode to a beloved pet. It brought a tear to my eyes.

A human or AI clearly applies no thought on this user name clearly designed to flaunt rules of decency.

Haven’t heard of Tim Whittaker before this. Watched the entire 18 minutes. Everything he said about the past is true, & I believe his predictions, including that nothing will put off white Christian nationalists from continuing to support Trump.

The aim of rounding up thousands of people & holding them in inhumane conditions is profit, not security. Waiting to hear about the true dangerous gang members who have been detained. Crickets. Wasn’t that the stated goal of deploying ICE en masse. www.threads.com/@piratessecr...

I cannot believe how dumb some people are to believe the Grift that’s going on. These people used to contribute to our society and pay taxes and it didn’t cost us a penny. Now, our tax dollars are pa...

If I were MAGA, likely I would feel as strongly about family & country.Trump buried his exwife in a remote part! of a golf course & quickly became overgrown would give me pause about his character.Knowing groundskeepers would be fired if their orders were to tend it,they were told to do opposite!

His brilliant satirical songs taught me about current events. My older brother played his records often when I was in elementary school. I’ll miss them both.

Thank you for being the representative needed for these troubled times. We look forward to a time when intelligent discourse & true progress returns to the US. Much admiration from Canada, we’re watching everything with great interest.

That was an amazing account. Standards & codes of conduct are even more important for those in higher authority than at lower levels. Let’s hope for follow through.

Love the costume & coordinating sign. No faux pas here.

I’m disturbed by the rise in antisemitism, but this is not the way to deal with it. Screening social media as an official mechanism is the thin edge of a scary wedge.

Another doggy moment of tranquility.

2 of 2. My point in the anecdote was that invoking martial law in a country at peace could be justified, under narrow circumstances. This was one of them.

I was in high school when PM Pierre Trudeau (Justin’s dad) invoked the War Measures Act in 1970.2 people kidnapped-a British diplomat & a QC Cabinet minister,by the terrorist group FLQ. Scary time & appropriate response. The cabinet minister was murdered, diplomat released,Act was revoked.

Feeling optimistic about our new Prime Minister, Mark Carney.Today, he spoke as he always does, without bluster. “It is clear that the United States is no longer a reliable partner”. “I take note of the President’s comments, I don’t take direction from it”. I’m voting Liberal in April.

Succumbing to cult leader indoctrination? Choosing to support those against your & society’s best interests come from fear & indoctrination. It can’t be emphasized enough this has spilled into the global sphere. Those of us in Canada live the consequences of irrational decisions from the south.

This week I thought this was the cruelest & saddest of actions. These poor souls had no chance to prove they’re not gang affiliated. Then I heard about the destruction of the Yale University database on kidnapped Ukrainian children. How in the name of humanity can this stuff be done & so quickly?

Thanks to another great mind, Neil DeGrasse Tyson for telling us this. Isaac Newton clearly is the greatest scientific mind. The next in line, arguably Michelangelo, primarily an artist & sculptor who was aware of so many scientific principles.

Parents were misguided. The therapy centre offering straws for the parents to grasp are the primary villains. Shut them down, oh wait, the health secretary thinks they’re valid.

Thank goodness for people like her, or we would give up on salvaging our relationship with the US. Hang in, do what you can & we’ll do our part in Canada. At least we’re united on the reality of the orange menace, even in the province of Quebec. A feat not possible before now.

It was a bully in the schoolyard attack, that’s the level they launched at. For Trump & Vance to talk like that on camera to a president trying to save his nation from an aggressive war, it should be condemned by every American who believes in democracy & standing up for what is right.

Since we in Canada are on a major push to buy Canadian products, the most important thing our government can do is remove all barriers to trade between the provinces & territories. It’s been long due, but surely the will to do it is there.
