This is my favorite section of Vancouver's SkyTrain. Do you agree?

Ah but quote post is disabled!

Crescent Moon before sunset, on an pale orangeish sky. It's seen through a bunch of electric power lines.

So I did this one and didn't outright hate it. I think that's better, right? I still don't know WHAT I'd like to do, but I guess that's a problem for future me. The knight tho? I don't think he's enjoying this particular moment.

An armored knight tries to protect his face with his arms, but he was turned into a crisp after facing a dragon. He's surrounded by dark smoke. There´s a broken lance by his side.

I did this and hated it afterwards. I just don't have it anymore.

Wounded naked male warrior, kneeling and bent over after receiving 3 arrows to the back and one through the arm. Black and white.

Spotted this bird, but I can't identify it. Halp!

And now a nice Venus and Jupiter moment.

Looking west into an after-sunset red sky, you can see both Venus and Jupiter glowing brightly.

Time to post a joke just in case...

Silly joke, a case full of Justin Timberlakes, so Justin Case.

You can still see the Moon/Jupiter/Venus alignment...

Sky pic that shows the Moon on the far left, a very faint Jupiter in the middle, and Venus on the right. It's barely past sunset.

I love seeing patterns in clouds. Why would shapes reproduce like that? Seems magical.

Wavy pattern on a cloud formation fading in and out throughout the sky.

If you see this, drop a hero with a sword! (Well, he WANTS to be a hero with a sword, maybe he'll get to be one)

Medieval mercenary rushing to strap on his armor, while his sword and shield rest on a nearby tree, white background. He looks worried and not quite battle-ready.

Quote with your purple art 💜

Girl I saw at the Skytrain, wearing mostly purple stuff, looking at her phone. I liked the way her clothing folded showing tension lines in the fabric.

So I did one of those DTIYS challenges, and this was the result. I kinda liked the intensity of the pose, but in the end I felt it missed the charm of the original drawing. You can see the original here: www.instagram.com/scribblingsa...

A red-haired cat girl smirks, flanked by four black cats with red eyes.

Post your favorite THE LORD OF THE RINGS character. Wrong answers only.

I love when I get this kind of view. Makes me feel like I'm still a tourist.

Sunset over a very peaceful Fraser River. No clouds, just a gradient from blue to orange on the horizon. City lights are already on, and you can see a barge floating there.

As the year ends, I guess that made me think of making this little sketch as I watched some youtube videos. It has been a year, indeed, and the world seems to be going crazy. Let's just relax, sketch out, and hope for more normal times.

Kneeling knight is dying, as he has a giant sword piercing through his gut.

I love Autumn and its colors. Every time I see something like this I have to remind me this is real, this is actually my life now. I love it!

A bit of lawn totally converted with yellow autumn leaves. The SkyTrain track runs a bit farther away.

Anybody knows what this kind of thing is used for? What do people tie here? It's on a beach rock.

Iron or steel loop attached to a rock near a beach. I have no idea what people tie here.

I'd try using animation-style structure drawing so you can keep proportions constant. Takes a bit to get used to but I find that I struggle less when I follow the same building procedure every time.

~Hey artists, quote with your woman art~

Woman holding a staff that has a lantern dangling from it's top end. She seems to be some sort of chaman, holding what would be some sort of amulet. She's got long flowing hair tied in a pony tail.

Yet another sketch I made a few days ago but I had forgotten to post it. Why would I need to post it? No idea, but here it is anyways.

Rough sketch of a dancer, taking a step forward after swinging around, hands on her hips holding her long skirt.

Sketchy sketch I sketched. Gotta keep that momentum going, right?

#Mermay Day 30. I can't believe it!! I did it, it's finally done, and only a month late! But hey, it's only the second time ever I manage an art challenge, the first being an Inktober a couple of years ago.

Mermaid partially hiding behind some seaweed. Her black hair is flowing all around her. Black and white image.

#Mermay Day 29. Yes, Ariel to the rescue of my very late Mermay run. Here, depicted one second before she realizes humans don't have gills.

Disney's Ariel drawn smiling widely as her tail starts to transform into legs in a flurry of little stars. Yeah, probably could have chosen a better brush, but this has dragged on long enough.

#Mermay Day 25. Well, not sure if this is exactly a mermaid, but she's half stingray, so I guess she is.

Stingray mermaid, mostly blue but with pale green dots over her back and "arms", which are wrapped around herself.

#Mermay Day 24. So this challenge is making me feel a bit trapped... but I'll get over that and finish it, no matter what!
