It's been quite a while since I last posted here. Updates: I've been writing a new comic "Dear Grim Reaper" and my store has a bunch of new items on sale. Oh and I have begun my steps to inburgering in the Netherlands.

I decided to take a mental health break from my regular feed. I noticed that my stress level was extremely high and so I decided to cut back on external things for a bit, which included social media/news/etc.. I'm not 100% yet but I wanted to start sharing some of my art to ease my way back.

I've been the person bailing various family out because I felt I should. So when family told me that they voted for Trump even though he was going to take away benefits they had because they couldn't let black woman win? For me, they died that day, I love them but they are dead to me.

To be fair to their family, I doubt ANY of them had ever thought he'd ever actually run for anything or ever be in government. They mostly just didn't want the black sheep to drag the rest of them into the gutter. However, it was that very instinct that caused this mess.

Yep and those will change over time too. If we ever went back in time, we'd be unlikely to understand any of the people speaking to us even if it's technically the same language. Mostly because of how languages shift over time. It's fascinating (and frustrating) how fast it changes.

Had they come out against him when he was still absolutely doing all of the horrific things he was doing rather than circling the wagons and protecting him, we wouldn't be here. They rehabilitated him, they did NOT denounce him before he got to this point. It's a case of too little too late.

AI is all hype. There are excellent modeling tools powered by data but that is NOT AI. As for training? The goal was to make it so none of us had to work. The problem is that the only people who have benefitted from labor are the people hoarding the money that labor created not the people doing it.

K-street was and is corruption, soft corruption but still. Average citizens KNEW their voice didn't matter as much as K-street. Since NEITHER party wanted to end K-street influence or lobbying for the wealthy, this was ALWAYS going to happen. Had someone stopped it earlier we wouldn't be here now.
