Qatar’s prime minister says Hamas offered to release all the civilian captives at the beginning of the war in Gaza but Israel refused to even consider the temporary ceasefire necessary to implement it. Others have said Israel has chances to bring people home a year earlier, saving lives but refused.

Medical supplies destined for Gaza wait an average of 45 days for Israeli clearance, per the WHO. They regularly reject equipment like x-ray machines and CT scanners without explanation. Medicines can expire during the wait. Hospitals cannot provide care without equipment. This is by design.

Israel cut off water to the West Bank town of Ras al-Ahmer, a Bedouin community of 300. Israel is building a barrier through Palestinian land, including trenches, embankments, a road only for military patrols. Bedouin communities have long been targeted, cutting off medical care, schools and water.

A criminal hearing was held for Wilber and a judge denied his release. He will remain in federal custody while the criminal case against him proceeds. His lawyers are hoping he will finally receive medical treatment before he has permanent complications. I’d say it’s better he’s not in ICE custody.

Update for Wilber, shot in Austin by ICE. He was moved; no one informed his lawyer who was able to find him at the federal courthouse in Austin. He’s facing federal criminal charges including interfering, assaulting and evading law enforcement. He still has a bullet inside and little medical care.

Iran offered a seven day plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and restart nuclear talks. The Strait would reopen in day seven if conditions are met: ending hostilities in Gaza and Lebanon; releasing frozen assets; oil sanctions relief; and lifting the naval blockade. Fuckwit had a response tonight.

9/24: A judge blocked the ban on CNN, MSNow and Politico by the White House. It took all morning for the White House to comply. Press badges were confiscated before the judge had to demand compliance but it finally happened. Fuckwit will of course attempt to appeal to SCOTUS. Their case is weak.

Update on Wilber, the man shot by ICE in Austin. He was sent back to the hospital with an inability to move his arm, finally got pain medication and found out the bullet shattered his clavicle and has significant swelling. He was returned to Pearsall where he only has Tylenol/ibuprofen for pain.

Lebanon health ministry reported that Israeli forces burned Meiss El Jabal Hospital. This is a recently renovated facility in Marjayoun and it was burned to the ground. Israeli forces had previously used it as a military position before destroying it. Lebanese authorities call it a war crime.
