Today’s headline: big corpo doesn’t add a feature that absolutely sucks. I thought this was just some sleorphism from Spotify. NO ITS WAY MORE. They added custom song transitions to playlists!!!

The play/pause button has a skeuomorphic metal sheen.

Song transition editor. There are options for mixing volume, EQ, filter, effects, beat loops, to great aesthetic effect. You can drag song’s tail and head to vary the overlap.

So @pigeon.pet gave me some 3d printed floppy disks for dot earrings I think I absolutely crushed it. Ty ping :>

Floppy disk earrings. A set of two. The disks are 3d printed in dual tone, red case, white label, central hole and shutter. The earring fishhook is titanium, and the earrings connect to the floppies with brass rings. There are interlocking 2x to 3x rings in alternating size and count. 2 larger rings connect to 3 smaller rings, which then connect to 2 larger rings in the pattern. The left earring has 3 sets of larger rings and a single floppy at the end. The right earring has 7 sets of larger rings and 2 floppies that are connected to the very end (7th position), and the 2nd ring hanging off another small ring.

Light from an unseen chandelier above, illuminates a light haze in the room. People are gathered all around the installation to listen to the bowls clink, clatter, and cluster only to separate on their own similar yet distinct journeys. Most bowls prefer to take a path on the left side of the pool. Few venture right. And none are in a single spot in the middle-right.

Using an s-biner to keep the last layer of laces closed on heels is a mood. Purely aesthetic, the laces do a fine job without the carabiner. Bad angle and lighting.
