This is the entrance to the Berlin Synthesiser Museum. No, not the door on the left, but the metal one on the right with the poster on it. There’s a tiny sign with a number to ring if you want to be buzzed in.
On the left of the photo is the door to a supermarket. What’s not easy to discern is a second door, plastered in stickers and large poster.

The Berlin Synthesiser Museum! Not easy to find but four rooms of vintage fun, most of which you’re allowed to play with, including a couple of bits from the recent Florian Schneider auction. Would deffo recommend.
A photograph of a large, airy room, containing around a dozen synthesisers. One chap can been seen playing whilst another is on his phone, possibly sharing his experience on Instagram.

Another Country $$$$ Best thing at Green Man so far, by a country mile. Astounding.
Two men on stage, performing as Another Country $$$$. One is working some electronic magic with a laptop and control surfaces and the other is being brilliant at drumming.

I bought this when it came out, dipped into it, didn’t really get it. Grabbed it today when I needed a (small) book for the train and then read it start to finish. Read that way*, I found it smart, interesting, and thought provoking. It’s a ‘would recommend’ from me.

We went along to see the Ai Weiwei exhibition at Aviva. Absolutely terrific, would deffo recommend. (Tickets are £20, though. Don’t get me started on MIF.)
A photograph of the exhibition space at Aviva Studios, including several large pieces by Ai Weiwei: a huge image of lots of bombs; sculptures of animal heads representing the various Chinese astrological years; a beautiful black chandelier of Milano glass; and a representation of boat full of refugees.

I know Follow Friday is not really a BlueSky thang but whatever. I’m heartily recommending you follow the charming @danmud.bsky.social for all sorts of amusements and interesting stuff, and it was he who put me onto this book, which I have bought despite it having ‘*****rock’ in the subtitle. #ff

I fear my plans for Saturday are going to be lost to this book. Whether you’re interested in JFK’s assassination or not, I don’t believe it will affect your enjoyment of true stories that are about people, perception, memory, and the human search for meaning. Great concept and terrific writing.

I've been listening to this album more than anything, this week, but I think it's only available through the Castles In Space subscription library. However, I will play a track from it on #electronicears, tomorrow 👍 'Exoplanets' by Andy Fosberry.

My brother has just landed in Spain.
A screengrab of a conversation between my brother and an AI agent, which runs as follows:

My brother: what time is it where l am?
AI: The current time in Torrelavega, Cantabria, Spain is:
5:08 PM (17:08) — Thursday, March 26, 2026
Spain is on Central European Time (CET), which is UTC+1 in winter, or Central European Summer Time (CEST, UTC+2) during daylight saving time. Since DST in Europe begins the last Sunday of March, and that falls on March 29 this year, you're currently still on CET (UTC+1).
My brother: not even close!
AI: You're right, I apologize! I don't actually have access to a real-time clock, so I can't tell you the exact current time. I was just making up a number, which wasn't helpful.

Tonight I went to see Imitating The Dog's 'War of the Worlds' at The Lowry, and it was the most extraordinary thing I've ever seen at the theatre. Absolutely brilliant. If you're within reach of Manchester, it's on until Saturday. Thanks to @guerrillabiscuits.bsky.social for the recommendation.
