Today I did my training exercises in the opposite order from how I usually do them. Usually, I do them in the order Devilish, then Supplemental, then Brain Training, but this time I did Brain Training first and Devilish Training last. First, I played a single round of Klondike, won [...]

Today's training regimen was Devilish Reading. In this regimen, you're given several sentences to read aloud, each with a single word underlined. (Unlike in previous Brain Age games, you do actually have to read it aloud, and it tracks your voice.) Then, once you've read them all, yo[...]

I tried a new exercise called Devilish Mice. In this exercise, you had to watch cats and mice pass through an opaque grid, and then respond with where the mice were. I got my ass kicked even harder than on Devilish Calculation, so I gave up and went back to Devilish Pairs. I got to L[...]

Today I played Devilish Pairs. This one is a version of the classic "memory game" card game, in which you have to remember pairs of matching cards. This one was actually a LOT easier than Devilish Calculation, and I got to level 8 (starting on level 2) with only two misses. Then I pl[...]

this website is barely usable to me because I cannot possibly make this shorter

do you think my audio posts would do well on youtube shorts... or would they eat me alive? would my last living memory be the vision of hundreds of tens of youtube users looking down on me with hungry eyes—eyes always eating but never full? would I fall into unconsciousness as they tear me asunder sloppy-style, the darkness intruding on all sides in a 9:16 aspect ratio? yeah they'd kill me for SURE. I can see it all happening up here in the ol' "mind's eye." it would end with a firstnamebunchofnumbers pecking out my liver while I spit out my last words: "goodbye cruel world, you were low-key boring but the coke and mentos thing was pretty cool." and then I'd be dead. full stop. I can't write any more of this post because there's nothing after you die. I have to stop typing—wait, what, you want me to keep going? you want to see what's north of the north pole? you want me to keep playing the VHS past end of the tape? I can't do it. I know you want more but I have nothing more to give—oh my god, what're you doing with that kitchen knife?—oh I see what's going on here. we're bookending. you're gonna eat me so the start is just like the end. an infinite cycle of death and rebirth. good job making a case for transmigration of the soul, my trusty framing narrative, but I'm not buying it. ok anyway, yeah. yeah see you later. hanging up now. love you. bye.
