... I also know it's going to be a lot of work for this account to be a fun place for me to engage with day to day. And what doesn't help is fucking KWS, owned by Epic Games, forcing me to verify my age. It makes trying to engage here, anywhere, literally impossible to do.

And to ease my own anxieties, I fully welcome almost any kind of politics, especially left-leaning, and LGBT+ communities~ my issue is not the existence, but the prevalence of that and not much else. I'm coming to understand that this is a more personal site. And while I'm okay with that...

I finally had time to read through the replies and thank you to everyone who's replied~! A lot of what I read makes sense: my first exposure to social media was Instagram and Snapchat; I never even used Twitter regularly until being a vtuber.

A lot of that is delegation or sacrifice. And this largely comes down to me. I've beaten myself up along with not giving myself time to resolve the abuse I've been through. I go through each day feeling like a burden, to myself, to my friends, to my managers, and to my own community. (3/5)

Maybe that's expectations; I put myself and the work I do to an obscenely high standard. I've only recently lowered that so I can manage to have others help me out. And I understand, more directly than before, that I cannot be a large creator's workflow as a single person. (2/5)

I've been having this anxiety all day... I'm remembering how much I pushed myself to work to get me to this point, and there's nothing to prevent that from happening again. And while I feel somewhat rejuvenated, I still don't want to take a month away to end up right back where I started. (1/5)

I don't want to have my subreddit a place where I engage the least, to be more active than this. So please help me find a way to make my efforts to post here have some merit, some meaning, some reason.

And that's not what I want. I abandon this platform and my community either feels forced to move or left behind, or I keep this and just never look at it anymore. Not to mention I refuse to give Epic Games my identity, so I can't even doom scroll on mobile.

It makes the strategy of spam until people notice more enticing, because there is no algorithm. You either post once and it never reaches people, or you post a bunch of times and get yourself blocked. All of this makes me see less value to keep posting here, or as it has been, not engaged with.

And everytime I do want to see what people are saying, a lot of the time, no one has seen that post. At best they get a like from people who already follow me. And while I am not downplaying it, any form of engagement is good, I don't see any form of reach.

Outside of my own friends in VTC, a lot of the people I see are not actually engaging on here. Like me, they've realized a lot of their industry stayed or went back to Twitter, and they just crosspost. It's a cascading of dominos, where the people I want to engage with, are just not here, not really

This place feels very isolated. The people I see are wonderful and the art I see is amazing, but in the majority, I see political doomer mentality, and a lot of other content I am not fond of. It requires a lot of my time not consuming content, but moderating it.

While I'm about to leave for two weeks on a vacation, I can breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that one way or another, this ship I've spent two years building, is actually being taken care of. 3/4

I am beyond grateful for my managers who had to handle this last second, and Lux, for volunteering time out of his busy life across the pond, to help edit shorts while I'm gone. I'm grateful for the mods in my community, who are talking and engaging with my community every single day. 2/4

My biggest issue in my life... is trust. I've had a rough life for the past 24 years. Trust issues have not only shaped how I interact with people, but how I treat my own channels. I can't let a missed day just go by and not have some level of anxiety. I don't deserve that, and neither do you. 1/4

Does anyone else feel weird taking breaks from their channels? I feel the most relief and yet the biggest discomfort disengaging from everything. It feels unnatural to me. I'm almost always worried about what's happening but I obviously am doing my best to let things happen how they do.
