A new Christmas jumper each year isn’t necessary. @savethechildren.bsky.social has opened pop-up stores in the UK selling donated second-hand Christmas jumpers.

Small charities, don't write off insights from large charities as being irrelevant - see it as a jump ahead in knowledge thanks to someone else's work/time/money. But! Be sure to adapt to your own circumstance, and be aware free ≠ good

It's so important to have - and give back to - community; local, work, or social. In times of need, it is community that rallys together to help. Community is there with words of kindness, both in your presence & absence. And contributing to something positive does wonders for the soul.
