Subs are done. Dialing in dual subs with dsp and REW only to find Audessy adds another high pass after room correction was frustrating tho. Took a while but it’s dialed in now. Maybe one more tweak tonight to make sure Edge of Tomorrow is less hot at 15hz. Balanced bass is a game changer.

Veneering roundovers and this large of a surface was new to me. So was the flush trim router bit. But I think the process came out well enough. Edges look good and my splices turned out ok. Will add two top coat layers this week and should be installing news subs this weekend 😁

Got the rest of the bracing done, fronts and backs glued on, and holes cut for both subs. Gotta cut out the plate amp and then veneer. I’ll be doing that at my place on my time. Busy next week but week after start routing and assembling tower speakers

My wife is the genuine cook. I mostly follow directions well and tinker here and there, but there’s a couple things I’m known for in my house. Kids helped seed the chilies, peel garlic and chop onions … even fry the chips. Good morning!

Going on a vacation and making some bacon jam for the trip (among other things) modified versions of stuff online. 2 sweet onions caramelized w/ bourbon, garlic added at the end. Simmered with bacon, coffee, apple cider vinegar brown sugar and maple syrup. Pulsed soon.

PSA: if you’ve just redone concrete in your yard do NOT buy these floor mats. We washed the windows, water soaked the mats, pulled dye out of the fibers and stained the concrete. Thankfully I just need to get bigger mats to hide this. Acetone and a wire brush was not removing it.

Starting late this year. Yard rework kinda pushed things off, including building this new planter box. But summer veggies are in! Various peppers, tomatoes, zucchini and a squash. On a drip system too. Easy peasy
