In 1969 the most common US first-time parents were a 21-year-old mother and a 22-year-old father. By 2024 the peak sits at 30 and 30. It didn't just move, it dissolved: the ten most common pairings covered a fifth of first births in 1969, half that today. #dataviz #demographics #fertility
