Should she really ask this anxious and bizarre individual to hunt monsters with her? Somehow she feels like that might be a bad idea. "Not too important right meow though... We can stay away furom meownsters if you purrfer!" Whisker adds amicably.

"Earth and light crystals too, especially since they're less abundant!" A pause. "Meownster materials, too!" she meows and glances back at him cheerfully.

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

And yet she does ignore it. No big deal. Can't be correct all the time! It's surely . . . nothing. Whisker stops a moment to think then gives a little shrug. "Iron and mewlachite ore are always useful! Can't ever have enough, really." she purrs.

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

Yet the warmth is not the only thing Whisker feels. She feels a sort of dread floating over her like mist. As if something terribly powerful is nearby. Through experience she knows not to ignore feelings like these, they're hardly wrong.

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

The other's hand is oddly warm as she holds it. That's fine. Nothing that weird actually. There could be plenty of reasons for that after all! Like having eaten something warm beforehand (even though she smells nothing), or having worn gloves! Or something!

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 21/12/2025

Then, before the odd stranger can react, she gets up and holds onto his hand with her paw, already starting to drag him along. "I could use a helping paw anymeow!", Whisker meows cheerfully, as if meeting strange-looking-and-sounding-maybe-humans-maybe-not is a common experience for her.

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 21/12/2025

"You look like you could use some...um...space? Furom others? How about mew help me gather some pawterials! You know, get out into the wildurrness, away furom...at least, some amount of pawple! You look a little...", she trails off, regarding him closely. "Anxious.", she finishes dryly.

The Felyne has a fleeting thought about a certain legend again, but brushes it off. It . . . Doesn't matter.

100

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 21/12/2025

With that she means the cloak, obviously! Though if she's being serious, she has not heard anyone sound like this before. The odd growl...and the sudden hoarseness in his voice. There's definitely something going on. And she's quite curious to find out what.

100

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 21/12/2025

"Oh, tha–" She starts and stops as she watches him stumble into a huntress. Watching wide eyed, she closes her mouth again. Well! This is certainly a situation the stranger is in! And Whisker is starting to have a feeling that he certainly has things to hide. For example: his disguise.

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 21/12/2025

The Felyne is more startled by the strangers hand suddenly retreating than she was by it suddenly appearing. She opens her mouth to ask if he is okay, however she gets interrupted by the hooded figure's frantic blabbering.

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 20/12/2025

Hm? Like what? They shouldn't treat you any diffurent regardless of what you are, your pawsonality won't suddenly be diffurent just because of that! No one should care what you are or aren't, and treat you diffurently fur it. You do what you do because of who* you are, not what you are.

000

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

Yet not too diffurent! Purrtecting people can certainly be a way to protect home! I admire your nobility, Wrathion, even if some may call you rash.

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

Well, is that really so bad? I suppawse for self presurrvation, it's not ideal . . . But fur me, life doesn't mean much if there's nothing worth protecting aside from my own life! So I think that's a good thing! :3

000

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

Do not worry too much, my furriend! The people in this world are hardy and resilient, they will not simpawly lay down and awccept a threat, apawcalypse or not. And whatever you decide to do in this situateown, I will do my best to suppurrt you! I trust your decisieowns.

Whisker stands up and looks around. Bright purple particles slowly drift from the sky. Uh oh! That's looking an awful lot like frenzy virus! A member of the magala family must be nearby.

Though, it had been oddly quiet for a while, almost eerily so. And then the atmosphere shifts further and her fur stands on end. Something had entered the area, but what?

The Felyne's tail brushes across the ground idly as she kneels down next to a tree stump, inspecting it for bugs. Whisker had taken up a quest to look for the somewhat elusive critters; and as she had nothing better to do, decided to take it.

the Felyne purrs the last part in amusement as if she had told a particularly funny joke. Keeping herself lighthearted and relaxed, though she can't quite keep her eyes off those odd yet beautiful scales dotting the other's cheeks.

Whisker @felynetherush.bsky.social · 04/08/2025

Her third thought is that surely not, even if the unevenness of the hood certainly seems to betray whatever is hidden underneath. And her fourth thought is that this might be a potential customer. "This one's not fur sale, but I could mweok mew one! Fur the right prrrice that is~" (+)
