The cover of Turing's Antalyakart EX Season 1 Episode 1, titled Bad Influence. On the top there's Hao and Cebesoy, looking concerned at the bottom. The background is text from page 94 from the book "Empire of AI". On the bottom there's Turing looking up and wanting to be there, while Say is sort of dragging him away. The text is from the Oksijen article "Yapay zeka imparatorluğu".

A screenshot of a panel from S1E1 of TurAnt EX. Cebesoy is looking a little frustrated.
[Öztuna] "Not *that* guy..."
[Cebesoy] "Is there a problem?"
[Öztuna] "Don't you know who Cem Say is? He's pro-AI, and also he's one of those people that appear progressive but-"
[Cebesoy] "A secular nationalist."

Happy bisexual visibility day Jenny Eden (real name Jenny McSorley) is bisexual and also a trans woman! She makes art and music, she's one of the most famous people on the social media platform TuroNet, and also she has a day job as a computer repairer. While she is liked my most people on TuroNet,

Even Bilim ve Teknik pointed out that these systems aren't very, well, ideal, back in their April 2026 issue...

A photo of page 56 of the April 2026 issue of Bilim ve Teknik. The text in focus is:

Like bro if your friends are like this you might as well befriend your fucking critics

Text. "At the time of Alan's death in 1954, his mother was in Italy on holiday. John once again was the one to receive the call from Manchester, and took on the management of what had plenty of potential for more tabloid sensationalism. Worse, when he arrived in Manchester, John learned from Alan's psychiatrist that one of Alan's ‘diaries’ was missing: in the diaries Alan had committed to paper a range of emotions and catalogued his tortured assessments of other people. To have the diaries adduced in evidence in the coroner’s court, with his mother and the nation’s press listening to his unfilial remarks, was wholly unthinkable. John searched the house and at last found the diary. Nowadays there are still those who argue that the inquest was a whitewash, or at least superficial, but avoiding the distraction of this unwanted material coming onto the record was what John believed to be the right thing to do. And you did not have to look far to find plenty of other evidence, both physical and psychological, to explain the causes of Alan's death."

Fun fact: Unlike many other servers on the platform, TuroNet's Main Server didn't have mods, and all moderation was carried by the sysadmins (Turing and Cebesoy), until late 2025: Turing was enforced into a break from the internet by (1/6) #TurAnt #TurAntEX #TuroNet #writing #comic #worldbuilding

Text. "[...] Imitation Game and random social media posts from AI hypists. Then they want to change the topic, asking how they could prevent all that x-risk shit (which Turing used to argue would happen). Öztuna, as part of moderator training for TuroNet (specifically the Main Server), had to study TESCREALism and AI boosterism and how to spot them extensively (they're considered harmful rhetoric in the platform's Policy of Conduct), so she explains that the existential risk thing is literally a cover/red herring from exploitation of marginalized people enabled by the AI project (per Gebru and Torres)."

the two hosts have like, homework to do at the end of each episode, in that one the homework was to read through the paper and absorb the weirdness of it, and then write about it I think. Schraffenberger did her homework, and particularly the end section stuck with me. I think it's because I am a

Text from one of Hanna Schraffenberger's blog posts, specially her homework for Computer Science Off Course S1E3. It's the section "Celebrating Alan Turing" and it reads:

"And to wrap this up, a final question: “Can we still celebrate Alan Turing?”… I have been thinking about that and the fact that people forgive LLMs for being wrong and saying stupid stuff all the time. There was this BBC study that found 45% of AI results to have errors. When I asked an LLM how often it is wrong, it admitted to being wrong 10% of the time (and, based on this answer, we should take that number with a grain of salt!). But people just accept such error rates from LLMs. So I think we can certainly also be forgiving with humans and with Alan Turing. He did a lot of super weird things in this paper, and some things I absolutely do not endorse. But he was human, and I think he did infinitely better than any machine could have done. So I think we can still celebrate him, just preferably not for this particular paper."

Many people believe that Nehir Cebesoy and Jenny McSorley are secretly dating, or at least have feelings for each other. But in some circles on TuroNet it is argued that it's just McSorley in a parasocial relationship. #TurAnt #TurAntEX #TuroNet #OC #OCArt #OCSky #art #digitalart #sketch

A digital sketch. Jenny McSorley is on her phone, lovestruck (I think that's what it's called?), saying "OMG this MUST mean Miss Cebesoy loves me!!" And from above, Ada (the mascot of TuroNet) is looking at McSorley, saying "Oh no..." and holding their broom in a shield-like position, having put Cebesoy, who is covering her eyes with her hands, behind their back.
