I find it fascinating that less than ideal materials are used on the regular in the cosplay community, though furries seem to have some sort of an issue with it. Honestly, people can build their fursuits out of whatever they want. I won’t recommend specific materials myself, but paper is viable!

“Paper fursuit discourse” back in 2012, I made a head to toe robot costume out of craft foam, foam board (foam sandwiched in between thick paper), spandex and hot glue. It lasted 3 years before I had to throw it away due to catastrophic structural failure. Y’all are fine, let people enjoy things!
