It’s remarkable that so little, if any, of the discourse around generative AI frames things in terms of the massive negative externalities that these systems generate for education, search, an informed electorate, national security, and even the training of future AI systems.

For those who read German, nice article in yesterday's Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung about our research. We find Germans who are generally 'pro' or 'anti' immigration actually agree on specific policy proposals. A glimmer of hope for compromise, given recent craziness. tinyurl.com/h5z86trw
