I discovered this book in college during some heavy deep diving into literary analysis (deconstructionism, non-linear storytelling, unreliable narrators, to name a few topics), and goodness has it stuck with me. I do believe it's about time to give it my annual re-read.

Before Kaiju: Battlefield Surgeon there is a warning about so much. Including a scene with a donkey. I just got to that first scene. I read that warning I was not prepared. I re-read that warning before this post. Apparently - there's more. You will not break me. (But you will gross me out)

I didn't really know what to expect when I started reading Dungeon Crawler Carl. (Other than a good time) Had a sentient AI having various sexual awakenings been part of the advertising I think these books would have crawled up by TBR faster.
