The festival seems to have everyone in high spirits. Kaveh is practically glowing with excitement… He worked hard to lend a hand in organizing many of the preparations, after all

The city streets are bustling with activity today.

Indeed, he hasn’t quite transitioned over to this platform just yet.

Well, it was really a team effort. It wouldn’t have happened again without both my husband and I’s weight contributing.

Daybreak, and the sun reappears. The air is still heavy with damp, but the forest is even prettier like this, refreshed, light bouncing off the leaves like fragments of stars fallen to earth.

Hmm… What are you speaking about? And the glyphs I was referring to in my post are from inscriptions of ancient Deshretian dialects that I am re-translating.

110

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

There’s something amiss with these translations… Clearly, the scholars who studied these glyphs made a mistake in their efforts to translate these inscriptions into modern text.

He seems to follow him around like a lost puppy. Ugh.

He insists on coming, even in this downpour

090

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

Mhm. Though he’s quite irritated at me at present. So I wouldn’t exactly use ‘healing’, as the most accurate term.

010

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

Hmph… Seems he’s one step ahead of me, and had already ordered a bottle for pickup. But we’ll purchase another case, seeing as there’s only one bottle left in the cupboards.

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

I recall the wine is running low, too

I’ll stop by the Tavern to pick up something for dinner… Fish rolls sounds good.

He’s incredibly stubborn. But thanks, for your words of encouragement.

Flowers don’t write poems but they still bloom for the sun. Even if I don’t say it, if I can’t, know that I love you. I bloom for you.

I appreciate your perspective. To express oneself does not always translate to understanding. It is a fine line we walk, and I suspect Kaveh is not in the mood for me to try to traverse that canyon tonight. Perhaps tomorrow, he will have an ear for my heart’s words.

030

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

\\ update: i’ll be sharing excerpts of alhaitham’s private journal writings here… @scribesjournal.bsky.social feel free to qrt if you want to comment on things, but take heed that by principle it will be breaking the 4th wall 🤓

0110

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Hm. I pissed him off and pushed a boundary that he’s previously me to respect before. His anger is warranted.

110

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

If only it was a simple solution like this.

030

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

He already dismissed the soup that I made tonight. I don’t feel that these would suffice as adequate consequences.

130

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

I’ve already done that. Just such gestures are futile, right now. I’ve clearly pushed things too far. It’s simply now a matter of weathering the storm til it passes. And then I’ll hear what sentence he’s decided to give me.

130

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

I have a feeling this isn’t what he wants either.

010

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Not particularly. I’ve exited the conversation.

100

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

There’s little I can do to soothe things over, when he’s like this…

4140

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Say whatever you want. It’s of little importance to me. Good bye

100

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

I have no problem with the label of an 'egoist'. It aligns quite well with my philosophies.

140

alhaitham ✧ @feeblescribe211.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

I like the idea. However, there's no question Kaveh will refuse a proposition while he's still mad at me.
