So. At the @EUMANS' Civic AI Webinar, we made the case for a European Social Stack. Check it out! “The fight for open digital infrastructure isn't a technical debate —it's a fight over power. Every time a European posts online, value flows to a handful of mostly non-European platforms. The tech […]

@FediVariety @evan @michael @bjoernsta The #KISS secret of all this noise about digital sovereignty - is simple, you ignore it and instead build commons tech. This is a common path for composting #mainstreaming mess. Signal-to-noise.

Anil Dash’s piece is a wake-up call for the #OpenWeb. The threats he outlines feel scarily accurate, a "perfect storm" that needs us all to pause and then consider how to counter them. Definitely worth your time. 🔗 www.anildash.com/2026/03/27/endgame…

A table with office material, stickers and yellow T-shirts in the style of the sex pistols (black letterson top and a pink invert on the bottom) spelling "Never mind the billionares here's the fediverse".
Next to them is a purple sign saying "T-Shirts donation-based" and up from it is a A4 QR code asking for support for donation for the NOAW unconference.
On the right there is story card with a Monty Python reference picture of a foot and the title "Shapping a rock into a ball"
