productive night tidying DNS stuff, now only 2 subdomains are being served through cloudflare down from 11 - the last 2 are tricky though.. one is a cdn that i don't really have the bandwidth for, and the other is hosted on a server that is unfortunately behind CGNAT :wlfTired:

@ret they run off iso/iec 14443 and i know at least the "GOV.UK ID Check" mobile app can read them, it took a while but transferred the photo from it which blew my mind

@doskel they left all of their gmail autoconfig dns records live so thunderbird desktop doesn't detect it as an exchange server (i submitted a separate ticket about the broken autoconfig and they ignored that too) :vlpn_scream:

@doskel my university switched from google workspace to m365 E3, purposely blocking thunderbird sign-in in the process, and essentially closed my support ticket with a 'fuck you' by sending a link to outlook on the google play store. still mad about it
