please please PLEASE (politely) call me out if i fail to attach sources to serious claims. i try not to talk about stuff that i'm ill-informed on, and citing sources as policy helps keep me researched. everyone else should adopt this policy, imo. too many people throwing around shit with no source.

sometimes it's fun to look back (sangled picrews i made in 2021 vs 2026)

old picrew from 2021. it features a boy on a white and baby blue background, with short blonde hair, black button-up shirt with a white vest underneath, and blue headphones. he's smiling slightly holding a peace sign.

a picrew from 2026. it features a girl on a white and light green background. she's wearing a brown sweater and green tank top. she has shoulder-length blonde hair and a green flower on the side. she's grinning with a peace sign and a trans pin on her sweater.

matrix is actually so much nicer to use when you disable end-to-end encryption, one of its most distinct features compared to discord, i rarely hear people bring up many complaints about matrix beyond "i keep losing my messages" (because matrix's E2EE is not nearly fault-tolerant enough), and […]

OOPS i only just remembered to post: i'm gonna be taking a break from streaming this week!! a little time for R&R and, critically, to hopefully fix some of the jank that's actually been _disrupting_ streams as of late. hope to be good as new next week! 💫️ 💚️

last night i learned that SFTP network shares are phenomenally well-supported on linux compared to the samba shares i was using before. _and_ it's a bit more performant than SMB. _and_ i get to use my super-secure SSH keys to authenticate! needless to say, i am very, very happy with this […]

tuba is an alright fedi client actually significantly more stable since i last poked at it, so that helps (also possible that it just doesn't support *key instances very well, but iceshrimp.net works just fine at least)

WOE BE UPON YE, I HAVE BE-FURRED THE GREAT @TechConnectify (Also up on my website at spikiii.nekoweb.org/posts/2026/09/1…) Made with: Krita / Wacom Intuos Pro M 2017 #art #mastoArt #digitalArt #krita #furry #furryArt #anthro #beaver

A drawing of Alec (from Technology Connections) as an anthro beaver, gesturing to a chainsaw sitting on the table in front of him and saying "Believe it or not, this chainsaw (purchased from my local Menardvarks) also has a 4-cylinder engine in it!" Alec has brown fur, slightly tussled chin-length black hair, and some cute little beaver ears. He's wearing a black t-shirt that has a map of the Chicago river on it, with a brown plaid suit-jacket over top (in the usual Technology Connections Style).
