Thanks for the mention, G. I spend a little more time on Insta these days, but I’m starting to play a bit more after taking a ton of time off, so I’m around. I recently remastered an album for a friend & it was fun to get back into the flow.

I scooped the 🐈 💩 litter box, took it out to the trash can, and was greeted by the night sky.

A picture of the clouds in the night sky just after sunset with silhouettes of houses and palm trees underneath.

That’s nice to hear. The family is doing well, thanks. I am doing fairly well, all things considered. Grateful for all the good things in my life.❤️

These are some cute little guys I created for flash tattoos but people also want to buy them as stickers and art.

Well, luckily you’ve got a beautiful album waiting in the wings. I’ve had huge creative gaps before. That’s how it goes with me. Forcing it feels wrong, so I just let life do its thing. I hope you’re doing ok.❤️

It’s been liberating to just abandon any care for the commercial success of my music. I look at my stats and laugh. I have been focused on finding my center & deciding if there is more music there. It’s been a hole for 2 years. I’m just starting to find the sun.❤️🎶

Man, I know the feeling. I too often go many days without playing. I always wonder if I will be able to play anything when I finally pick it up.

Starting to get my ducks in a row for promoting my new album Explore... If you like indie pop rock psych and have the evil Spotify as your streaming platform of choice... click some buttons and presave it here: distrokid.com/hyperfollow/...

Join me on Youtube in 1 hour for the premiere of "The Key" from my album Explore. The song will go live on Bandcamp directly after for purchase. It will not arrive on streaming platforms until 2025. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ckin...

Thanks. I’ve read his site in the past, but it’s been several years. You’re right, it sucks.

Fedbysound @fedbysound.bsky.social · 18/11/2023

I think it’s a waste for me. I get about 60 streams per week & 90+% of those are from me listening to my own music. I really don’t care about the streams. I am just tired of paying Distrokid every year. They’ve already got half my total earnings in 3 years.

Fedbysound @fedbysound.bsky.social · 18/11/2023

Considering moving my catalog to CDBaby. My 1st album is with them (the rest with Distro). It’s $9.99 per album. So what if they take 9%…I ain’t getting any streams anyway. 🤷🏻‍♂️For me, that’s much cheaper than “leave a legacy” with Distro… as I have 3 albums to move.
