I mean this in the nicest way possible, Super Mario RPG's dialogue feels like it was written by a child playing with their toys and coming up with scenes, especially because of the way Peach and Bowser interact with others

I feel the same way. I'm very happy that fan servers exist and that people work so hard to get them to that point. I've just never felt drawn to them personally, since half the fun of these communities is being among those who don't know these games super well too! ...well, sometimes, anyway.

Yes, it sucks that certain character flaws or backstory details have yet to show up, but... this adaptation is literally just now starting again after months of fans anticipating these episodes coming out. Have a little patience.

All the criticism I've seen about the handling of certain elements of SBR's story so far is making me feel like people are forgetting that we're only on episode 2, and then obviously wanted to fit as much as they could to get to the end of the Ms. Robinson fight by the end of the episode.
