Look up Norman Rockwell’s The Problem We All Live With and Murder in Mississippi. Both pieces about Civil Rights, both though-provoking and harrowing (esp the latter). Are you gonna say that Ruby Bridges should’ve murdered a CEO for her right to schooling?

Relevant quote from Those Who Walk from Omelas

Quote from Ursula K. le Guin’s short story Those Who Walk Away from Omelas.

“The trouble is that we have a bad habit, encouraged by pedants and sophisticates, of considering happiness as something rather stupid. Only pain is intellectual, only evil interesting. This is the treason of the artist: a refusal to admit the banality of evil and the terrible boredom of pain. If you can't lick 'em, join 'em. If it hurts, repeat it. But to praise despair is to condemn delight, to embrace violence is to lose hold of everything else.”

A Pride thing that I made for a Newgrounds collab and just wanted to share everywhere else. Been a while since I drew the Realms of Faith characters, so it was a good excuse to do so again! #furry #artistonbluesky #pride #pridemonth #fealykayarts #realmsoffaith

A transparent pic of the three main characters of Realms of Faith (from left to right: Kozi, Toge, and Ravenfire) decked out in Pride gear.

Been hooked on Neopets Classic recently, so I got inspired to draw my primary neopet RainbowTrout in an isometric plain dimension of some kind! #ArtistOnBluesky #art #neopets #neopetsclassic #fealykayarts

A green Ixi named RainbowTrout stands in the middle of an isometric plain with a red blanket and a cup of tea.

After several months, I finally finished this reference for Ivy, the star of my upcoming project! Despite the silence this project has received, it's still being made! #ivysstory #fealykayarts #oc #kemonomimi

A turnaround reference for Ivy from Ivy's story. Ivy is a cat boy with grey hair with black tips on the ears and tail. He wears a blue tunic, a brown belt, worn brown trousers, and a slave collar. He has a facial scar on the left side of his face, as shown on the far top right of the reference. The bottom right below Ivy's face shows his dagger and bag.

A belated Easter pic for all the chocolate lovers out there that wish for a gigantic chocolate bunny to nosh on. Milo sure does! #zomallow #fealykayarts #easter2025 #easter #furry

An Easter-themed illustration (yes, I'm aware I'm like 6-7 days late on this) involving Milo, the green-furred zombie cat, eating the ear of a gigantic chocolate bunny with a yellow bow around its neck. The text "Happy Chocolate Bunny Day!" can be seen to the right of the bunny.

After far too long, I've finally finished this little image celebrating 50 followers on Bluesky! I've never gotten this many followers when I still had a Twitter account, or for that matter any number that required a celebratory image. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity!

Image of Feral!Kay sitting in a small clearing in a meadow with a small blue butterfly on her beak. The text "Thanks for 50 followers!" can be seen to the left of Kay.

New Zomallow comic! Might seem a little familiar to anyone who has owned a cat at one point in their life. #webcomic #zomallow #fwkayarts #ArtistOnBluesky #art

A three panel comic for Zomallow. Everett and Sou run up to the room where the crashing noises came from and see Milo climbing the bookcase to grab a jar of what look like hard candies.

Since it's #IndieAnimationDay (at least on the western seaboard), I thought I might share a little project I've been meaning to reveal for a while. Ivy's Story is the tale of a fugitive slave boy and his quest to set himself free and avoid his master at all costs. Release date sometime in 2025!

A little remake of an old piece from 2019, just to see how far I've become art-wise and also because I thought it might be fun to do. Here's the old version: file.garden/ZdjpDJzmo3pLm6uw/Hogehu…

A drawing of a young hedgehog with yellow fur and light blue spikes hugging a hedgehog plushie in their arms and sporting a happy expression. They are wearing a light purple bow and purple-and-sea green stockings decorated with stars. The hedgehog is also in front of a pastel rainbow background.

Two art pieces I made for a digital illustration class last year in college. As you can tell, I am very interested in mythology. #furry #furryart #mythology #art #anthro #yablokoarts

A drawing inspired by the Akan myth of Anansi and how he acquired stories from the sky god. In the center is Anansi jumping for a scroll (representing stories) the hand of the sky god himself. The corners show all of the four impossible tasks Anansi had to do in order to obtain the stories: top left are the hornets, top right is the python, bottom left is the cheetah, and bottom right is the invisible fairy.

A drawing of the ashiarai yashiki (a youkai from Japanese mythology) being washed by animals inside an old Japanese house.

It's that time of year again, where I draw my OC Milo taking out their heart and giving it to someone as an act of kindness. Don't worry, it doesn't hurt them; they're a zombie! #art #myart #yablokoarts #gore #valentines #valentinesday #artwork #furry #blood #goreart

Milo the zombie cat is presenting their bleeding heart to the audience and blushing. A few spurts of blood come out of the heart valves.
