The second (final) sketch draft of "Up a Hill & Back" (wip name lol) is complete. I've got some critique, and I'm pretty happy with it. in the coming days, I'm going to get very familiar with Inkscape... Btw Bev, Versk and Aph are all on Artfight if you want to draw them! #comic #furryart #bird #art

A loose sketch of three anthro bird dino things sitting around a pot of boiling water. This is the three main characters mentioned. Bev is laying down with Aph propped up atop her, and versk is on her own side, staring at the pot.

For the first time in years... I'm cooking a comic rn The entire thing has been sketched. More here, and an open question about posting comics on the internet, if you feel so fancy featheredabyss.com/2026/01/03/t... #comic #art #furry #bird #wip

The Sketch is Done

Hello and happy new year! The trio featured in this comic, or at least their current iterations. Only they know what they’re looking at, but maybe, for all but one, they actually don’t.…

A new article collecting a bunch of comics I've done in the last little while, now that I'm going to add a 20-25 pager (which for now I call "Trail") to the list. featheredabyss.com/2025/11/26/a...

All of my commissions are open and 33% off! Car is broke. I'm good with dinosaurs, machines, birds, and other feathered freaks, but am generally pretty flexible in content and style. TOS, examples, prices and everything: featheredabyss.com/the-abyss-co... #commission #furry #art #dinosaurs #bird

A pic of Indiana holding up an MAP sensor, manic.
Words: $2 sketches. $7 fullbody colors. 33% off everything. (I got cheapass comms btw)

A Word on Words (updating dictionary), just a post full of auctare words and concepts, purely as a resource to clear up confusion and help y'all keep track of what's going on. featheredabyss.com/2025/11/01/a... #oc #writing #lore #anthro #furry #bird #phantom #votra #fantasy #worldbuilding

A goofy phantom telling another, "...- so that iron ipath cracked that cannibal realists’s culmen and shot that demon parasite and its wretched pens into its next era."
The other phantom seems pretty disturbed.

Day 31: Halloween Costume. It's just me. Always had that visor, so Indiana's design is tennis feeling. Why not go all the way for halloween? As of today I completed every day of Oc-tober, all of my works and thoughts are here: featheredabyss.com/2025/10/02/i... #oc #halloween #inktober #bird #furry

A colored sketch of a bulky Indiana standing around with a tennis racket and a tennis fit. Their wear sandals on their somehow socked bird toes.

Btw they would get their ass whipped at tennis.

A lineage of immortals' fall from invulnerability, rebirth as a parasite, and rise again as a civilization is a story begging to be told. I'm telling it June 30th. featheredabyss.com #oc #writing #lore #anthro #worldbuilding #avian #dinosaur #furry #votra #bird

A stone path next to a muddy patch, strewn with deep dinosaurian four-toed footprints. Water pools in them. In those pools is the reflection of a strange bird-like creature.

Phantoms exist, now what? Plenty. Here, we go from their inception to civilization, a journey that goes as far as their little scaled feet can take them. (btw, oldish article) featheredabyss.com/2023/10/11/p... #art #writing #lore #characterlore #ocs #originalcharacters #creaturedesign #blog

Phantoms exist for a reason: passion. A curiosity and love that stretches across their time in the form of their creator. I'm not talking about me. I'm talking about their quiet god, nicknamed "Johnny". Here is some of their story :> (oldish) featheredabyss.com/2023/08/19/p... #art #writing #ocs

A quick(ish) post on the technicalities of a phantom soul. Messy, messy technicalities. They're fun to talk about and each with their own massive ramifications everywhere, despite how small they seem. (old btw) featheredabyss.com/2023/08/05/s... #writing #avian #worldbuilding #art

Soul 101

Soul. By now, the word has been mentioned many times, but what is it?

The Feathered Abyss @featheredabyss.com · 10/12/2024

Despite the success of phantoms across Aucdia, their souls are not infallible. They can be created with mistakes. They can develop mistakes. Sometimes, they are simply unlucky. What happens next? (pretty short, old article btw) featheredabyss.com/2023/08/01/a... #worldbuilding #avian #art #writing

The Feathered Abyss @featheredabyss.com · 09/12/2024

Oh the beginning! Old article, but this is the core concept of my strange, feathered and fruity people, in comic form! "Phantoms" really are a funky bunch and the "soul" of theirs has changed them inside and out. featheredabyss.com/2023/07/27/a... #worldbuilding #avian #oc #writing #art #comic

Hello! As said in the bio, this account is purely for sharing posts from the above blog. My personal account is @indianallama.bsky.social, I just realized that with all the personal stuff added in, it would be hard to sort out just the lore. Btw, blog posts will still be quoted/reposted over there.

A drawing of a small horned bird-like creature (that some will know as "Johnny") pokes its head out of a crater of a desolate red planet.
