Some attempts to find toy photos that fit:

Earthrise Optimus Prime, looking like he's been Rudely Awakened.

Kup, after a fan called him ShitPiece for the 7000th time.

Netflix Bumblebee and Buzzworthy Goldbug, both of which factor hugely into two videos discussed in the article.

"Dawn of War" is partially about this image of Legacy Alpha Trion and a destroyed Legacy Orion Pax.

Wait, I can do more than 4 photos now?

I get that, but, like, even the tiny little Universe 2.0 one managed the "fold the back third back" step.

Fear or Courage @fearorcourage.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

The thing that gets me here is that the long torso is a solved problem. Modern G1 non-Chibi Volkswagon Bumblebee figures simply have the back third of the car body fold back, or otherwise be removed, to shorten the torso. I don't see any reason why they couldn't have done that here.

Bonus pic that didn't make it into the review:

Generation 2 Beachcomber, in altmode, driving along a small rug with Moose on it.

A couple bonus photos I didn't have room for in the review:

Missing Link Arcee, in altmode, with two Splatoon squids.

MTMTE Collection Hot Rod, with fishing pole, chatting up Missing Link Arcee.

TfCon 2026 was wonderful. Here’s my full haul of stuff, expect to read and see more of most of it in the next several months:

A clearance sale gave me the chance to replace my yellowing Cyclonus with this hopefully-yellowing-proof retool, Star Raider Ferak. Honestly, as an obscure Marvel-original Transformer, he already had my attention. Let's see if this nobody's a somebody in plastic form. Full review in the replies.

Star Raider Ferak and Comic Edition Straxus, in the robot modes, menacing iGear Shafter.

Star Raider Ferak, taking a knee in front of Legends Tailgate, who's pointing at him.

Star Raider Ferak, in spaceship mode, held in the photographer's hand, swooping in pursuit of Origin Bumblebee, also in vehicle mode.

Kingdom Blaster, in robot mode, charging at Star Raider Ferak, in altmode, who's got blast effects on his guns.

Masqueraiders Test Ride Case 23: If you Meet Keanu Reeves on the Road, Kill Him, without context (1/3):

Dr. Hibbert's long-lost twin brother, saying "Detroit. He lives in Detroit." From the Simpsons episode, "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?"

One of those cassette tape adapters that lets you play music off a headphone jack in an older car.

Lisa Simpson driving the Simpson's car, listening to St. Elmo's Fire, while Homer Simpson sits in the passenger seat, looking annoyed.

The cover of the Animorphs book, "In the Time of Dinosaurs."

Tony Soprano and his wife. He looks a bit beaten down, and she's at his shoulder, consoling him.

A diagram showing how to make the Sign of the Cross.

A diagram of the various appearances of a ghastly creature caled "Three Man," which is a sapient green number three that I think was from Megaman? Honestly, this one was just sent to me to include.

I've already got all these toolings, so this set really isn't for me. But if you don't have them, this is an excellent way to grab them in one fell swoop. Heck, if you have a couple of them, I'd still call it worthwhile.

Fear or Courage @fearorcourage.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

So, we've got two masterfully great figures, one bad one, one mid one, and three good ones. Not a bad batting average for what's in the box, before factoring in the nicer colors. And the math on the price checks out, it's market value for that specific set of figures!

Easter Weekend delayed my latest review, but it's the perfect time to talk about that Predacon Multipack that just went up for preorder. And wouldn't you know it, I've reviewed every figure in it. The colorschemes are different here, but the tooling's the same, so let's dig into what you're getting:

Hasbro's Predacon Multipack, with all figures in Beast mode.

Hasbro's Predacon Multipack, with all figures in robot mode.

An obscure nobody of a Deluxe, Jalopy's a Transformer I was after because of a wierd coincidence related to a tabletop RPG. But how's the figure on its own merits? Read on to find out: childrenofprimus.com/bot-reviews-...
