If someone in your life just can't take any confrontation, accountability, or well-intented criticism, that's a huge indicator that they lack emotional maturity, self-introspection, and avoid growth. They prefer to find yes-men to endlessly validate their bad choices to stay in their comfort zone.

My therapist was talking with me about projective identification. It got me thinking about the Ascendant-Descendant axis. Our 1st house is who we are but also how we feel about ourselves, the 7th is how we feel about others and how we make them feel.

The 7th is a liminal space, it’s where we go to meet others. It’s how we make them feel, it’s the energy they then assume in our lives. But the 1st is our own space. It’s how we feel about ourselves. It’s where we lead others after they've entered and explored the 7th.
