He nods, "That's a long time. Yeah, you should get back." Damien begins to walk away before speaking over his shoulder. "Good luck with the case."

It wasn't long before the food would arrive. It looked absolutely delicious! Damien hums with a look of satisfaction after the first bite. "This is good. . ." Despite his words, he looked like he was a kid on Christmas day morning.

He hums with a nod, taking a sip of his own drink.

000

"I get that. . . If you ever need company, I'll be around. If I'm not out on the field and if you're ok with it."

000

"Meditation is nice. I've done it a few times. You seem intuitive." The drinks soon came. The waitress said that the food would be coming soon.

000

"Hm. . . interesting. Is there much to see where you're from? Much to explore? Or not so much?" He was genuinely curious.

000

He raised an eyebrow, "You're not?" That was interesting to him. For some reason it made him find her more fascinating. "For my job, yes, but when I'm on leave. . . not so much."

000

Damien tapped his foot on the floor as he checked their surroundings once more. "Do you like to come here a lot?"

000

"The cream cheese and mango you mentioned." He answered, looking at her menu. When the waitress came, Damien said his order - including a cup of water before looking at Agatha, waiting for her to say hers.

000

Knowing what he want, he didn't bother looking at the menu. "Do you know what you're getting?" He asked, looking at her.

000

It was peaceful. Just how Damien liked it. So far it was a good sign. Due to his time in the force, he was constantly checking their surroundings as if expecting someone to attack. "You can pick where we sit."

000

Now he was somewhat excited to try it but it didn't show on his face. Once they've arrived, he opened the door for her.

000

"Hm. . . That sounds good. Haven't heard of it before."

000

He doesn't let her - gesturing for her to go first as he grabbed the door. It was automatic for him to be gentleman like. Damien hums at the assumption. "Yes, I do. I work in the force. A heavy job even for myself. . . What do you do for work?"

000

Damien reaches out and shakes his hand firmly then lets his hand drop to his side once again. "Good to meet you too, Barry. So. . ." He pauses to look at him. Really look at him. "How long have you been doing this for?"

000

"What kind of sushi do you like to get?" He finally broke the silence as they approached their destination. He'd try whatever she found was the best.

000

The silence that was shared was nearly deafening but comforting at the same time. Damien didn't know what to talk about - remaining quiet and calm. Almost like he enjoyed the silence. Whether they'd talk or be quiet, he enjoyed it nonetheless.

000

"Alright. If you say so." He gestures for her to lead the way. "It'll be on me. I'll pay."

000

He shakes his head with a soft sigh, allowing her to do whatever. "As long as you get there safely I guess." At least he knew where he was going without needing any sorts of assistance.

000

"Are you sure?" He asked, making sure it wouldn't be too much.

000

"From the news. You're pretty famous but not exactly for good reasons."

000

"Sushi? Don't think I've ever had it." That made him a bit curious now. "I'll have to try it sometime. If you're saying it's that good, it must be."

000

"Please, call me Damien. I don't think 'pizza guy' really fits me." That managed to put a small chuckle out of him. "It's no problem. Wanted to make sure you were safe despite us being strangers. Guess my job rubs off on me."

000

"Relics?" He questioned, looking at the other with little curiosity. If it was none of his business, he'd let it go - let the topic drop. "A small world." Damien commented on the family part before continuing. "I work here or at least in this area."

// ~Bucky ♡ Gonna get to replies soon!! ♡

000

"Oh - right." He could somewhat remember the conversation about the restaurant. "It's your new favorite or on the list of favorites?"

000

The stranger seemed kind. Damien liked it. It was something he wasn't used to quite yet. He's met his fair share of kind people. Upon the question, the soldier quirked an eyebrow in curiosity. "You got lost? We're in the UK. Far from home I'm guessing?"

000

Damien walked the streets; a cold chill in the air. His phone rested in his hand as he followed the coordinates. Once he reached his destination, he looked around - soon spotting the woman on the bench. "Uh. . .hello. Are you the person who asked about pizza?" He had to be sure first.

There was a decent fraction of guilt in his features. He didn't exactly like to ask for things as it would lead to a bad impression or so he thought it would. "Thanks." He unscrewed the cap then sipped the clear liquid, letting it coax his dry throat. "Sorry about that."

000

He had completely missed most of the conversation - his mind everywhere but the present. "Sorry. What was great?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck.

There wasn't much that Damien could quite think of that the other could do. If he allowed him to join one of his missions, his Captain would absolutely destroy him. Perhaps a eater might do. "Uh. . .could you get me a water? Please?"

000

📲 Thanks. . . 📲 I'd say the best one is near the small shops 📲 Try their cheese pizza if you can 📲 I only know this from my team. They drag me there often

". . ." He's silent for a moment - regaining his bearings and really just processing the other's words. "Thanks, Frank." He only knew his name by the trials he's seen on TV with the lawyer. Or at least of what he was able to see on the TV at base.

000

"Why do you care?" Maybe it was the adrenaline or the panic that was speaking for him. Damien tries to calm his breathing down - closing his eyes as he did so. Once he got it under control, he looked up at Frank. "Sorry."
