161. The World is Dancing (Anime, 2026) Dance is an utterly beautiful yet terrifying form. Yet, it allows us to exist past ourselves, and exist past the small lives we live. All in such a simple action.

160. Mortal Kombat II (Movie, 2026) Movie I undeniably watched, but it was kinda fun actionslop.

159. Mortal Kombat (Movie, 2021) Movie I undeniably watched.

158. The Owl House: The Long Lived King (GN, 2026) God, this was a great read. It being allowed to get into the much darker material regarding death, and how that affects not just the entire cast, but especially King is just such a lovely read. The artwork, and paneling are also just so good.

Yamashita Tomoko writes this very uncomfortable portrayal of the sort of everyday ways people who are meant to care for Asa, hurt and fail her. It's a very harsh read, and is unfortunately all too common in this society.

100

157. Hibari no Asa (Manga, 2011-2013) Just this harrowing look as to how people tend to fail young women from being victims from sexual assualt and abuse and how in this particular case, everyone utterly fails Asa.

100

156. My Cousin Vinny (Movie, 1992)

155. Forgotten Island (Movie, 2026) This movie is a little too kiddie at points and the gags especially in Act 2 are super hit or miss. But man, the 3rd act is such a blast and different tonally from what came before, it rules. Really dig how it explores memories in that way.

154. Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match (Movie, 2023) Johnny Cage is just the coolest guy ever. Really fun campy throwback to that ideal of an 80s action star movie, with a surprisingly fun cast. It's a bit wink wink here and there but I don't mind.

100

153. Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms (Movie, 2021) It moves at a mile a minute, but I can't say I was ever bored until the end starts doing boring multiverse nonsense.

100

152. Kannou Sensei (Manga, 2016-20XX) Just a really nice and compelling slow burn romance series, with this uterly gorgeous sketchy hatching linework that gives this series a very hazy quality. The backdrop of the lead being an erotica writer also gives it a lot of creative intrigue.

151. Yomi No Tsugai [S1] (Anime, 2026) Definitely one of those extremely solid but nothing crazy adaptations that Bones does. For what its worth, I had a bunch of fun with this. Glad it was a 2-cour season.

100

150. Demian: The Story of Emil Sinclair's Youth by Herman Hesse (Book, 1919) “The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God's name is bisexuality.”

149. Sayonara, Lara (Anime, 2026) While I found the ending to be rushed, SayoLara's tells this beautiful tale of Lara, and her having to escape the expectations she's been bound to regarding true love, and finding herself. Easily one of the most delightful experiences I've had with an amime.

148. Star Trek: The Original Series [S2-S3] (TV Series, 1967-1969) Also didn't watch every episode, but I do really like the main cast and one of the best things is how genre fluid the series is. However, it gets pretty formulaic not helped by Season 3's need for 100 dull love interests.

147. Absolute Martian Manhunter (Comic Book, 2025-2026) Everything and nothing all at the city of second chances.

144. Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia (Anime, 2026) Easily the sleeper hit of the season. An expertly crafted adaptation that truly gets what makes the series such a special read, and with such a care fir depicting a time and place that barely gets any representation.

143. Hoteri Hotette First Kiss (Manga, 2022) This was cute, but I did mostly just read these oneshotw for the cute pervert girl. She's cute.

fo @fe-fi-fo.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

More importantly, the pacing of the show is just fucked with how "go go go" everything is. It's hard to be really invested in anything the Major's story, cuz it barely feels like she has one.

140. The Ghost in the Shell (Anime, 2026) While the production was undeniably excellent, I felt like the show was very much running on empty calories. The characters felt very flat to me, and theres so much unengaging technobabble it was hard to parse.

139. Seven Soldiers of Victory (Comic Book, 2005-2006) God, what an awesome book. An entertaining weave of new and old concepts and ideas brought about in exciting ways that only someone like Morrison can. Their talent with using their artists and collaborators really shines with this series.

I absolutely get why this has a chokehold on the culture still ten years after it came out. It genuinely is that good.

136. Undertale [Neutral and True Pacifist Route] (Video Game, 2015) There's a lot to say but I really must focus on how much I enjoyed the endings to the game, to the point that it overcame some issues i had going into it. Also seeing more of the cast in those sections was such a blast.

131. Imperial Guardians (Comic Book, 2026) Very cool that Dan Abnett can't even have a marvel cosmic book that isnt a 5 issue limited series. Whatever, man. Good book but it's very constrained by 5 issues.

extremely nutty situations. It's a testament to the writing that they make a teacher date a student and its actually works for the story. Also, I hope Julian isn't relegated to forgotten mutant status. Him, Prodigy, Surge, Dust and Wither are pretty cool new mutants.

125. Christina Weir and Nunzio DeFilippis's New X-Men: Academy X and Hellions (Comic Run, 2003-2005) They really just decide to go overdrive into being a messy ass teen soap opera, and God is it entertaining. They do a solid enough job in making the characters actually pretty engaging, past the

Gohonmatsu is charming but I dont think he works for this kind of story, and the romance between him and Mille is both charming and also full of a lot stuffy misogyny of her being a true woman when she falls in love with him. Not a fan.

124. Swallowing the Earth (Manga, 1968-1969) While it's still plenty enjoyable, it definitely feels like Tezuka really struggled in making a truly "adult" manga in this. Zephyrus is cool with how they cause the end of the old world but the rest of this manga just feels extremely unfocused.
