In other September related news one of my 4th grade students brought his twin tower pencil sharpener and started throwing paper airplanes at it

Deltarune twitter is having its 167 moment rn and it’s arguably messier than

The use of music is such an under appreciated part of the church arc, and it makes me feel like once animated it’s going to be an undisputed top 2 arc in the entire series

Hot take, even if his overall art was better back then part 1 fujimoto could never capture the raw hatred in that kid Denji panel

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Bringing this take back in response to all the “fujimoto lost his passion for part 2” allegations, I’ll always respect a creator that doesn’t let their story get swayed by public opinion

Seeing the fluff so determined to reach the sun and convey its love feels so grounded and optimistic. Even when the world is falling apart around you, individual expressions of gratitude and care can make that same world still worth living in.

There were a lot of fujimoto oneshots that came out this past week but Goodbye Heaven feels special to me for some reason.

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

This is very likely a joke but the next time someone goes out of their way to help me I might need to hit them with the Fujimoto Thank You

An underrated part about chainsaw man Tuesdays that I really miss is that it had me consistently up at 7am on the dot, like my internal clock forced my eyes open at 6:58 even on break weeks

When the csm mobile game comes out imma be annoying about it here for like a week then go back into hiding 😶‍🌫️

I really hope they prioritize the expression work when animating it’s genuinely such an important aspect of part 2

I want Look Back to be the ultimate bridge between all storytelling forms. Give me a novel adaptation. Give Look Back: the Video Game. Give me Fujino and Kyomoto’s story on a vinyl album. The expression of the human spirit deserves to be seen, heard and felt no matter the medium.

Genuine beast mode for fujimoto to barely utter her name through all of part 2, most writers would bring a villain like her up every other arc

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Top 5 Deltarune characters as of chapter 5 imo 1. Susie 2. Flowery 3. Noelle 4. Queen 5. Kris Based on a mix of writing and personal enjoyment, if talking strictly about writing Kris goes up one, flowery down two and queen is replaced by ralsei

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

Every character gets a societal bbl when they’re animated, when csm church comes out we will be subjected to whip hybrid pfps and barem alpha ceo edits

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

I lowkey view the international assassins arc as part 1’s version of the prison break arc; it’s a fun palette cleanser after an emotionally heavy arc that gets the blood pumping and the audience just comfortable enough to hit them with unfathomable despair

this is me but unironically i am so genuinely thankful for how chainsaw man helped develop the way I understand and think about fiction. it actually changed my life, even in a relatively small way, and I’ll always be grateful to it for that

Unironically one of the most significant manga chapters of the decade, crazy how it lines up with the series end

They reached out to him too but he went with Pepsi bc it rhymes with sexy

All the birds really add to the freedom feel of it, and putting it side by side with volume 1’s inside cover really moves me for some reason

Another excellent inside cover ty fujimoto for the birthday present and congrats Denji on the Pepsi brand deal

In conclusion, curry barker is another fujimoto disciple

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Granted, no matter how low Denji went he would never be the entitled coward that bear was, but the intentional ignorance of their respective love interest’s autonomy even when their actions hurt others really stuck out to me

130

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Now that it’s been out for a week I wanna bring up a parallel that’s been playing in my head; Bear from obsession is late part 2 Denji if he didn’t have the extremely endearing early aspects of his character for ppl to bring up to excuse how he dealt with the asa/yoru dilemma

More people need to talk about how good his new style is in color

1120

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

Harder than ever, love how the color scheme is a more muted version of volume 1

Any predictions on the volume 24 cover 👀 my hope is it’s a a group pic of everyone

It’s about a dude who makes a wish for his crush to like him back. It works, but some hijinks ensue and it ends up being the scariest thing I’ve seen in ages. Really well acted and well directed, it just hit theaters

110

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Speaking of scary movies tho I just watched obsession and I thought it was incredible, maybe that’ll be more your speed

110

Falling Devil’s cool hat @fdcoolhat.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Fair points tbh, when I first watched it I thought it might be in conversations with sinners but the more I thought about it there wasn’t nearly as much meat to weapons as there was in sinners.

There’s about a dozen shots where Nikki is posted up like this and it viscerally unnerved me every single time, she deserves every Oscar on earth 10/10
