oh yeah i should also mention i’m a very slow gamer my ys 10 proud playthrough took me like 120 hours. so tales games are likely a bit shorter than i say but i just take a long time with them

i started it a few years back but my ps2’s disc drive started being a lil silly and i had to get it repaired and then the repair people fixed it Wrong and it stopped reading discs so i had to take it BACK to be repaired again and it killed the vibe so much i just never went back to my playthrough 😭

i really don’t think it’s that bad, people complain about the camera but i’ve experienced far worse in games music is good, sorey is very adol coded, i’d say it’s story is serviceable at worst, and a lot of other issues… i’ve seen people exaggerate due to external drama around the time it released

90% of pc98 games are eroge meaning they gotta make em pretty /j no but fr the thing that computer could do… i see a lot of people opt for pc engine versions of like falcom games cause they’ve got voice acting or are animated but the look of pc98 games more than make up for lacking that stuff imo
