Fogpiercer from @madcookiesgames.bsky.social was the perfect game to play on the Rog Xbox Ally X. Played the whole thing to and from work on the train. Fun little run based roguelike, that was super bloody hard towards the end. Failing after an hour into a run is devastating 😢

Finally got around to putting up some of my vinyls. My wife and I have such different music tastes, its a cool way we can share in decorating. Having Cannibal Corpse next to Daft Punk makes me chuckle

Smashed through the early part of Gas Sataion Simulator. Having loads of fun setting every thing up, now I have got a couple of workers cleaning and pumping gas and just opened the carwash. Now the real grind begins...

Had loads of fun keeping humanity safe in @brigada-games.bsky.social Quarantine Zone: The Last Checkpoint. You have to be pretty ruthless to keep things moving. Im sure that cough is nothing, but better to be safe than sorry. Off to liquidation...

Sorry friends, no stream today. I have had to make a non planned trip back to NZ. Everything is fine now, but probably wont be soon 😢 Just remember to be kind. It makes the world a better place.

I was really hoping to get the first completion of Bus Simulator 27. Just rolled credits on the story and have reached max level, unfortunately my skills have glitched and keep leveling up to the same number 🤣 plus there is no way i have driven less that 1000km

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I have been thrashing Bus Simulator 27 this weekend. I believe I'm in the final stretch of the story and it has turned into a grind! I have the potential to be the first to get all the achievements but I have no idea how close I am to finishing the last few 😭

Swung past my local games store and found my next game to play for Backlog Brews! What a time to be alive, every major movie was getting a game. What chaos can Jack and the crew get up to in At Worlds End. Also picked up Blood of Dawnwalker, but nobody cares about that 🤣

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

We did it. Alone in the Dark is complete. Couple of achievements left to clean up which shouldn't take too long. Had an amazing stream with a raid @candyxbomb.bsky.social 😍 Is it worth playing in 2026? Yea I think so. Its got some amazing mechanics, some horrible controls and a lot of heart

It's Wednesday morning, and you know what that means. We are heading back to New York for the final chapter of 2008's Alone in the Dark. The difficulty spike has been immense, and I need all the support I can get 😂 www.twitch.tv/fbombegaming

I have been playing a bit of Fogpiercer on the ROG Xbox Ally X. Its a fun little train roguelike from @madcookiesgames.bsky.social You unlock new carriages and engines to help you get further, it has the final scene of Mad Max 2 vibes. Surrounded, outnumbered, the only option. Forwards.

Spent the weekend in peak gaming. I adore simulation games, with any excuse to get out the wheel. I'm reviewing Bus Simulator 27 for the Gamer Social Club, so keep an eye out for that in the coming days. Now, DON'T SPEAK TO THE DRIVER!! @gamersocialclub.ca

One of the things I adore about Resonance: A Plague Legacy is its scale. The overwhelming sense of insignificance is just as terrifying as the beast

010

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

This is just a gorgeous art direction right? Right? Why is no one answering me!!!! Resonance: A Plague Legacy

010

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Resonance: A Plague Legacy is going to take me forever. Im stopping every 3 minutes to explore photomode 🤣 what a gorgeous game

The A Perfect Circle logo was my first tattoo, and Mer de Noms is in my absolute top 5 albums of all time. I have seen it a few times on vinyl and decided for whatever reason to not get it. Little was I to know it would release on a gorgeous splatter vinyl 😍 sometimes its better to wait...

030

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I have been deep in some 7th gen so pretty excited to get stuck into Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy over the next couple of days. I didn't play the second one yet but the tornado of rats from the forst still haunts me 🐀😘

Well I dont know how its Wednesday again 🙃 I'm continuing on my plythrough of @EdenGames vision for Alone in the Dark starting at 9.30am AETS (roughly 1.5 hours away). Its a little rough around the edges but I'm having loads of fun with it Twitch.tv/fbombegaming

Im so close to the 100% in Starfield currently sitting at 96%. I have been playing on the train to and from work for the past few months on the ROG. Final thing is to get to level 100. Currently 81. So probably still a couple of weeks away. What a fantastic game

Forgot how weird @oncehumanofficial.bsky.social is. I played it in early access back in 2024. I'm not a huge M+K player so with no controller support I dropped of quickly. With the Xbox release I'm here for some weird cosmic horror nonsense. Already confused with all the menus 🤣

I had no idea Of Orcs and Men was even a thing. Cant wait to get started after i finish up with Alone in the Dark

010

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

The more I play Beast of Reincarnation the more I'm falling for Emma and Koo. I have just finished up the 4th area. With every Nushi defeated, the combat evolves. Calling on the power of vanquish bosses is a neat touch. However, dont ask me about what is happening story wise 🤷‍♀️

020

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Unfortunately I have been called into work today so there will be no Alone in the Dark stream today. We will have to wait to see how Edward overcomes the flame next week. I do apologise, but people need to learn about coffee. RL strikes again 😘

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

What an utter treat! Only complaint, I wish there was more! Frogwares has done a phenomenal job brining survival horror and Arkham to life. I finished it and went straight into NG+ and finished that too!!

030

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Alone in the Dark is a trip! Its this weird mix of really unique mechanics and ideas, with difficult controls. Half tank controls with first person shooting. Flicking the right thumbstick for melee, combining items to create makeshift explosives the bones are there. Its just hard

Continuing 'Backlog Brews' this Wednesday, with @edengames.bsky.social vision for Alone in the Dark. Released in 2008 for PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. I'm really looking forward to replaying this. Looking @trueachievements.com I never finished it 🙃

031

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

There is something really special in Beast of Reincarnation. Sure its got frame drops and texture issues, but the world is gorgeous. Its got this weird Metal Gear Solid feel to it. Plus i would burn it all for Koo 😍

010

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Moonlighter 2 has been quietly sitting on my list for quite some time as i love the idea of the shop simulation element being part of a dungeon crawler. Is this the video game gods telling me its time?

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Now that I have finished TimeShift, its time to choose my next backlog brew! I have had some suggestions with Fracture and Stuntman, so I'm on the lookout copies. While I wait I have randomly chosen 4 games from the shelf. What should I play next?

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Rest easy Tiger Company, your sacrifice will not be forgotten... Halo: Campaign Evolved LASO run complete. I really wanted to get all the remix achievements done during this playthrough too. Haha nope, that was never going to happen.

020

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Well my friends its Wednesday morning, so you know what that means! Forgotten Gems and Backlog Brews over on Twitch. Im streaming through all my old 7th gen games to find my top 10. Today we are continuing on with TimeShift from 2007 m.twitch.tv/fbombegaming Starting at 9.30am ish AEST (2 hours 😘)

020

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Ooooofffff LASO has been a trip! Keyes was absolutely crazy, so many enemies and the fear of almost instant death got me in the zone and i did it first go. I had a weird glitch on The Maw where my warthog took no damage on the final escape 🙃 Now starting on the Bonus missions

010

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

I wanted to get stuck into my LASO run-through Halo: Campaign Evolved this weekend but I got called into work 🙃 so I finished up a bunch of the remix stuff. With Beasts of Reincarnation in a couple of days I'm running out of time 🤣

010

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

I dont think i have ever done a full playthrough of Halo. I never owned a console growing up and only played random co-op missions and multiplayer. What a brilliant time its been. All skulls collected. Now its time to attempt my first LASO

010

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Thats Beatdown City Survivors complete. Bloody loved it. A little bit of a slow start but once I found a character I liked it was all on! Fantastic soundtrack and ran like a dream on the Xbox Rog Ally X. Made my train trips to and from work so much better @beatdown.city can not wait for more

Frase @fbombegaming.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Im 16 again 😭 I grew up in a no video game household. All my friends had PlayStation 2. Then someone got an Xbox. I was hooked on Halo from that day forward. Pulled my gaming setup apart and dragged my Xbox out into the lounge for big screen surround sound goodness 🤣
