Just beat the Fate route of Fate/Stay Night for the first time I've still never cried because of a piece of media but this may be the closest I've gotten

Spent 6 hours in there, was planning on staying longer but it got too busy and too loud and my ADHD having ass can't handle that I really enjoyed it though, spent most of my time playing Maimai The arcade has an adults only time for Friday 6PM - 11PM so I'll have to go on a Friday next time

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 03/01/2026

Still working my way through Trails of Cold Steel III (70 hours in) but I've been finding myself missing the old 2.5D presentation of Sky and Crossbell

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 03/01/2026

Gonna keep a thread of games I've beaten in 2026 here

Going to a proper arcade for the first time ever today, excited but kinda worried it'll be full of kids. It is unlimited plays after I pay a booking fee though Hope it's worth the £18

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 25/12/2025

I'm visiting a proper arcade for the first time ever in a couple weeks I'm actually super excited

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 25/12/2025

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to anyone celebrating!

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 19/12/2025

Been thinking about it. Juna is solidly my number 2 favourite character Number 1 is still Rene, no spoilers but before playing Trails I have had my eyes well up at media before but Renne is legitimately the only character to ever make me full on cry and she managed it three different times

110

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 19/12/2025

I'm 40 hours into Trails of Cold Steel III I think Juna might be my new favourite character

020

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 17/12/2025

What are some of your favourite female character designs?

A million Muslims live in New York City. We belong here, as does every other New Yorker. This is vile Islamophobia from the Councilwoman and it has no place in our city.

A Quote Tweet from NYC Councilmember Vickie Paladino @VickieForNYC stating:

“We’re in the midst of a global jihad the likes of which the world has never seen, and we cannot ignore it.

“We need to take every seriously the need to begin the expulsion of Muslims from western nations, or at the very least the severe sanction of them within western borders.

“The administration needs to begin developing a formal legal framework for the denaturalization process and get it over with before we end up with another 9/11 or worse. Enough is enough.”

The quoted tweet from @DrewPavlu stating:
“AUSTRALIAN HERO TOOK GUN OFF SHOOTER

“TERROR ATTACK SYDNEY AT LEAST 10 DEAD

“AUSTRALIAN HERO TOOK DOWN GUNMAN”

Just finished Cold Steel II, the finale, divertissement and epilogue were great but overall I really do think the game dragged. Still good overall though. 7/10 Gonna jump into Cold Steel III, I've heard a lot of good things about this one

010

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 02/12/2025

Just finished the divertissement and god damn, no spoilers but it's probably my favourite part of the game so far

020

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 02/12/2025

Just finished the finale for Cold Steel 2, still have the divertissement and the epilogue to get through but Holy shit that ending, no spoilers but, god damn. Yeah, I do still think most of the game is a drag but the entire Infernal Castle segment was great

I forget sometimes that a lot of people on this website did not live during the 80s and 90s and so have a very different perspective on game design and difficulty than I do

Ngl, Cold Steel 2 is boring me to tears Like, I love how the events of Azure are tying into the story but Jesus everything else feels so dull. Just got done with Act 2 Part 2 and I just want to move on to CS3 already...

My four favourite FF games X was my first one, it'll always hold a special place in my heart because of that. V I love, I think it's very underrated, especially the annual 4JF Shadow ringers was the current expansion when I got into XIV (patch 5.2) and it was an incredible time to jump in. (1/2)

Just beat Trails of Cold Steel Wasn't sure what to expect since, from what I can tell, this seems to be one of the least liked Trails games And yeah, out of the six I've played I'd probably say this is the worst one, but I still really enjoyed my time with it, its like an 8/10 in a series of 9s

020

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 18/11/2025

So Avowed, fucking Avowed, got nominated for the game awards whereas Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter didn't? I never really had any respect for the game awards but the fact that Avowed got nominated at all really pisses me off

I'm playing cold steel right now and the idle animations just look so odd when you put turbo mode on. Like I get it, I have turbo mode, of course it'll look weird but I just find it funny how it looks like they're breathing really fast but they're heads move very little or not at all

010

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 10/11/2025

Just beat the crossbell games I think my favourite trails game so far is still SC, but Crossbell was still incredible, especially Azure Will be jumping into Cold Steel next

110

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 05/10/2025

I finished Chapter 2 of Final Fantasy Tactics but decided to start Trails in the Sky SC. Ended up putting in 11 hours into that game in one day and now I'm torn between continuing with omit or finishing FFT first

The filtering in Final Fantasy Tactics is some of the better filtering I've seen, but I WISH we had the option to have the pure, original sprites and textures

Started FFT: The Ivalice Chronicles God, the voice acting is so good. Bias because I'm British, but I just love proper British voice acting

Nearly done with the Trails in the Sky remake. Should be done by the end of the day. Absolutely loving it. I actually have some characters I really want to draw pixel art for too, hopefully it'll finally get me back into drawing pixel art, will definitely post here when I'm done

000

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 24/09/2025

About 30 hours into the trails in the sky remake, couple hours into chapter 3 (city of Zeiss) and I'm really enjoying it, even if it can be a bit slow

000

Faizan @fazon.nexus · 24/09/2025

Ok, I've seen more gameplay of the FFT remaster and honestly, the smoothed sprites don't look bad at all, wish there was an option for pure pixels but this doesn't look bad
