Alruna is an 18 year old Valkyrie on the run with her father in Midgard. She wants freedom. Freedom to fly without being caught. Freedom to let her wings out without the threat of them being cut off. And mostly, a safe place where she can have the freedom to be herself. #weeknightwriters

#DVparty #DVpit #YA #F #DIS #CI #LGBT Day 4: Story as a meme/gif 🪽THE VALSHAMR🪽a 84K YA norse inspired Fantasy I had so much fun making these 🤣

A white old man looks nervous with the words “not believing in a seiðr prediction” next line as he looks directly at you “your whole home is destroyed”

Two strong arms hold hands as it says “alruna” and “drasha” on each one with the holding hands saying “hiding who we are from the people that care the most about us”

Two buttons show two options one says “hide that I’m a Valkyrie” the other says “hide the I can hear the land spirits” with a sweaty nervous man with the word “Alruna” over him

#DVparty #DVpit #YA #F #DIS #CI #LGBT Day 2: 🪽THE VALSHAMR 🪽 Meet my main character: Alruna Alruna is a 18 year old Valkyrie hiding in who was left behind in Midgard. She’s daring, adventurous, resilient, and stubborn. All of these qualities have gotten her this far. How far will they take her?

Two cats stand on either side of a book called “seidr magic” the cat on the left is looking at the camera mid meow and the cat on the right is looking at the book on the carpeted ground.

#dvparty #DVpit #YA #F #DIS #CI #LGBT Since I’m not much of a visual artist here is a picture of me that relates to a mood board for my pitch this week!

Picture of a person with blonde hair (me) standing with wings that are made from paper lanterns with the colors blue, red, and green on them.
