✨PLANNING TO OPEN COMMS AGAIN✨ I’d like to get some outside perspectives from people who commission regularly tho: How do my prices line up with what people are comfortable paying? Am I too expensive? 😅

Fawks @fawksplays.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

I finished my character’s furry design. This started as a joke, but I’m genuinely surprised by the amount of people who unironically like the design. 👀 Is this something I should do more of?

Fawks @fawksplays.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

They said I’m never beating the furry allegations…so I drew my female OC as a furry. 👀

It’s hard to get out of the numbers game mindset that is so apparent on Twitter. I like seeing posts get 30-40 consistent likes and a couple hundred views so it’s difficult to switch platforms and be back to square one. >.<

This is the finished piece. I did this one on my tablet in Procreate. I didn’t limit myself to the same size for sticky notes and ended up using WAY too many layers. But that’s normal…right? 😅

041

Fawks @fawksplays.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

This was the updated version for the sticky note. I spent a bit more time because I had some people take interest in my sticky notes at work. I’d already done a few more by this point and I think you can tell I’d improved here. This one was done with both pencil & sharpie pen.

Fawks @fawksplays.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

This was the initial sticky note and my first attempt at creating my art on such a small canvas. This one was done entirely in pencil. I didn’t have any plans on continuing, but Laimu is definitely a wonderful art muse.

I feel like I’m in so many discord servers so I can support the server owners, but I don’t have the time or willpower to be an active member. How do you all stay active in 10+ servers?

✨ART JOURNEY PROGRESS✨ This was the first character I ever drew on stream. So I decided to draw the same character now ~ 2 years later I still have a lot to learn. But this is how my art has evolved after a little over 2 years of consistent practice and learning new things

I may have disappeared for a bit, but I've been hard at work. I've upgraded from a pngtuber into a vtuber! The rigging took forever and there might be more tweaks in the future but for now I'm happy with it <3 #vtuber #Live2d #modelshowcase #vtubermodel

QUESTION FOR L2D ARTISTS: I want to make something customizable Is there a way to group items in the PSD so I can turn them on/off in L2D or is that something I have to set up in Cubism?

✨SPYRO ART✨ I LOVE the Spyro trilogy. This lil’ guy was a MAJOR part of my childhood. I tried to draw him with only straight lines to get that “low res” PS1 feeling. Any other Spyro fans in the #Vtuber community? ❤️+♻️+💬 APPRECIATED

For those that are curious on the concept, I started off drawing her as a Navi from Megaman Battle Network. But I realized that might be too old/obscure/niche of a reference. So….marvel rivals. Laimu has internet powers and likes swords in her FromSoft games. So…energy swords!

I used to LOVE playing Minecraft! But like…I’d get WAY too into it. I even learned basic coding so I could use command blocks to make building faster.

✨WANT BETTER ART✨ The majority of the “polished” look of a piece comes from how you play with light, dark and blending. You can achieve metallic-looking art by using shading and highlights! Here’s a good tutorial I found on Pinterest.

Fawks @fawksplays.bsky.social · 29/01/2025

It’s amazing how much thought needs to go in to little things like post timing, descriptions that nobody reads, tags, etc. It’s given me such a new found appreciation for the efforts some people go to in order to make things on the internet.

🤔GENUINE QUESTION🤔 Let’s say you joined a streamers server. Would you ever go into the “SELF PROMO” channel to look for another streamer to watch? Do those kinds of people exist?

I FOUND A SUPER OLD CONTROLLER THAT WORKS WITH MY EMULATOR!!! It’s from like 2013 and is wired, BUT IT WORKS!!! I’m so happy! 😭 I can finally play Ape Escape again!
