Another blue morning glory has opened up near the roof. There may be a fair few unopened buds up there too. Time will tell. Yes, the brickwork there is appalling but much better than other areas where huge chunks have fallen right off

I don't mind autumn, just the fact it means winter is coming. My house is so old and crumbling and without insulation that once the indoor temperature drops into single figures that's it until usually March next year. Heating won't touch it because it goes straight out through the walls

The platform was pulled right back, turned slightly and has just returned to were the wreck is and gone past on it's way up the Medway, probably to Chatham with the last mast. All over and done now 😢
