Donna Tartt = very stylish. Fascinating person and writer. Only three books in as many decades! I thought I had read "all" of them, but glacing at the plot of The Little Friend, I realise I've only meant to read it. I know I had a copy at some point. Don DeLillo's Cosmopolis. Amazingly, this was published in 2003. It seems to fit into the landscape of 2026 pretty well. I love Cronenberg, but didn't care for the film. I haven't finished it yet, but it seems to work better in book form.

Signed up to MUBI last night, and, I must say, it outclasses any other streaming site I've ever tried. Pure quality. Rewatched David Cronenberg's Crimes of the Future (2022), which I hadn't seen since its cinema release. BODY IS REALITY. SURGERY IS THE NEW SEX. Pure Cronenberg!
