I was lucky enough to be at Reflections at The Albert Hall - but wish they'd play this again - stunning song

2 of them looking very serious

benj nelson @fatpie1664.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Gutted - him scoring, the missed pen and a few Arsenal ‘friends’ giving it the large one. Hopefully a good result in Europe before City…

I've just looked at the track listing and they've left off the Thorn EP... The original box set was 4 CDs - very odd

benj nelson @fatpie1664.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Probably my least favourite Cure single - glad it's been shelved

010

benj nelson @fatpie1664.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

This is a great box set - the Thorn EP is sensational 🫡

Great song, I do hear hints of Disintegration in this, which is obviously no bad thing 👌

Wonderful song from a great album - rarely played live these days which is disapointing

The Smiths - Hatful of Hollow Got a CD player and could only afford 1 CD so I chose this as it had 16 songs

Melody Maker championed The Cure in those days, NME were indifferent to them, which probably explains this

Piggy In The Mirror - what a tune

Would they both appeared on the Christmas TOTP in 1983?

110

benj nelson @fatpie1664.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

The sound was so good, way better than the Isle of Wight show. A sensational gig.

Heading off shortly No black clothing for me

benj nelson @fatpie1664.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

Cheers - was at IoW which I thought was pretty flat as so many didn't know the songs & probably 3 days in that heat clearly took its toll - plus it wasn't very loud

010

benj nelson @fatpie1664.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

Off to Cardiff later and hoping they play it - one of their finest ✔️

@curegigstats.bsky.social - over the last 10 years any idea what the % is for Pictures of You being 2nd song on the setlist? Has it actually been played in any other position?
