Those positions deserve an honest debate, not a label designed to shut the debate down.

Calling a political disagreement “hate” doesn’t make it hate. People can support transgender people’s dignity and civil rights while also believing that parents have important rights in their children’s education and that female sports should remain sex-based.

And I-638 does not mandate invasive genital exams. It requires healthcare-provider verification and permits several methods. We should be able to debate whether that policy is appropriate without characterizing everyone who supports sex-based sports as hateful.

I struggle with framing this disagreement as “bigotry.” People can respect transgender people and also believe that female-only sports are worth preserving. Those positions are not mutually exclusive.

Trump has criticized Washington’s millionaires tax, so his position overlaps with the initiative’s effort to repeal it, but I haven’t seen evidence that he sponsored, funded, organized, or is otherwise involved in the initiative.

fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 01/10/2026
This is pretty misleading framing. Trump isn’t behind I-645. It’s a Washington state initiative sponsored by Brian Heywood and Let’s Go Washington.

Whether government responds to that by cutting future spending or changing its priorities is a separate question. Presenting projected future revenue as though families are losing money already funding today’s classrooms, childcare and healthcare is misleading.
000
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 01/10/2026
This framing leaves out a pretty important fact: the tax I-645 would repeal hasn’t even taken effect yet. It doesn’t begin until 2028. I-645 would repeal a new 9.9% income tax on income over $1 million and prohibit future state and local individual income taxes.

I respect people’s freedom to identify as they choose. I don’t accept that identity overrides biological sex in sex-protected sports.

Correct, none currently play in the WNBA. I’m talking about women’s sports broadly, where male-born trans athletes have won women’s titles in NCAA swimming and track, cycling, weightlifting, and other sports. It’s women’s rights at large.

fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 24/08/2026
Support of men playing in a women’s league? This is an issue about protecting women’s sports not anti-trans.

You don’t need to say it, the site does.

You’re not disputing what happened. You’re defending it with semantics.
100
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 10/08/2026
You already admitted the site documents men beating women in female competitions. Now you insist it doesn’t show an unfair advantage because the rules allowed it. Permission doesn’t turn unfairness into fairness; it merely makes the unfairness official.
100
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 10/08/2026
The actual question is whether advantages acquired through male puberty can affect fairness in a protected female category. Pointing to one person who loses, or performs poorly, does not answer that question. That is basic logic, not transphobia.
000
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 10/08/2026
An untrained man losing to Serena Williams does not prove that sex-linked athletic advantages are imaginary; it proves that elite skill can overwhelm them. The relevant comparison is equally trained, similarly talented athletes-not Serena versus some random couch-bound man.

fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 10/08/2026
This is a straw man. Nobody serious claims that being trans automatically makes someone a great athlete. An advantage is not a guarantee of winning.
100
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 10/08/2026
Literal much? Cheating is generally defined as obtaining an unfair advantage, as you acknowledge this website shows. It is not confined solely to the act of breaking explicit rules.
100
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 08/08/2026
You’re still missing the point. I’m not making a scientific claim about average fitness levels. I’m saying the female category exists for a reason. A male athlete entered it, competed against women, and took a place that otherwise would have gone to a woman. I call that cheating.
100
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 03/08/2026
3/You’re missing the point of my post. HeCheated is documenting actual competitive outcomes, including women’s records, titles, medals and opportunities being displaced. A review that admittedly has little data on competitive or elite athletes doesn’t rebut those outcomes.
100
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 03/08/2026
2/You can’t conclude there’s no competitive advantage in women’s sports from a review that largely didn’t study competitive athletes. That’s the fundamental problem.
100
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 03/08/2026
1/That study doesn’t actually support your claim. The authors explicitly acknowledge that most studies weren’t of athletes, few measured physical performance, and there was virtually no evidence on elite athletes. They also found trans women retained greater lean mass after hormone therapy.

The percentage isn’t the point. If even one biological male takes a woman’s roster spot, scholarship, title, or record because of male puberty advantages, that’s unfair. Protecting women’s sports is why many people care.
000
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 07/07/2026
Incorrect. Bostock interpreted Title VII (employment discrimination). The recent case addressed Title IX & school sports. You can argue the reasoning creates tension, but it did not overrule Bostock or hold that gender identity discrimination is no longer sex discrimination under Title VII.
000
fatimawa.bsky.social @fatimawa.bsky.social · 01/07/2026
The decision doesn’t say discrimination is okay. It says sex and gender identity are not the same legal category under Title IX. If Congress wants Title IX to cover both, Congress can amend the statute. Courts interpret laws; they don’t rewrite them.

The use of Nazi fascism here is totally inappropriate. Disagreeing with coverage is fair, but equating a broadcast memorial with Nazi propaganda is unserious and diminishes real historical evil.
