Kuzhuk is an old, old Bairon who took to drinking blood as a source of water in the merciless expanse of the Nhaama Desert- of beasts at first, then of travelers. He's become somewhat of a folktale, as the life-sustaining properties of his diet have kept him... unusually fresh over the centuries.

also blur the light layer so it bleeds over unto the art (which it should be clipped to. missed some details here)

010

FatherFaustus @fatherfaustus.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

grey layer under a bg copy blurred on overlay, both clipped to the art, mess with the grey opacity until happy (I usually have it around 10-20%) light is by selecting the areas around the art and then filling that on a new layer on add with an appropriate colored light bish bash bosh

FatherFaustus @fatherfaustus.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

also just look better on the thumb because they're gonna be small typically and some tricks with overlay and add layers

010

FatherFaustus @fatherfaustus.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

kinda proud of the rendering on my thumbnail art even though they really don't look like much because I've been pulling back on the rendering which is... again. my big weakness #CWart | #YorickFaust

tremors and jaws are both great movies, and Jaws probably succeeds more as a work of horror. but Tremors is actually perfect. an almost unique example of a film executed flawlessly in line with its vision.
