okay so no youtube and I take it reading on your phone is out of the question. In your situation I'd starting writing a story in my head. So I'll give you a prompt. You character is given the job of restructuring a galactic utopia. It's currently centralised, it's post scarcity and has a military.

When others draw and write about Star Trek, Doctor Who and Star Wars they do so as an expression of love for those stories characters and worlds. Heck I avoid getting merch of an era of Trek I'm just less of a fan of because I don't want the awkwardness of going "Actually I don't like this thing"

There's a line from the TNG episode The Inner Light (a story I lowkey dislike) Steve Shives when talking about allegories for Climate change pulled it out and it's stuck with me. "Make now the most precious moment." That doesn't mean that you stop being practical but you savour the moment.
