Last time I bought shoes for work, I got a more expensive pair, thinking that'd mean they'd last longer They lasted less than a year, whereas the cheap ones I had before lasted ~3 years. Expensive doesn't mean better anymore, I guess??

Trans men have a variety of reasons why we struggle to talk about these things. One is the same reasons cis men don't like to talk about the sexual assaults *they* experience. Another is the massive baggage of dysphoria that comes with the memories.

I was forced to watch Child's Play when I was really young and it gave me nightmares, and a phobia of dolls that lasted till my 20s. Its also the reason it took me so long to get into horror. I'm still don't really like dolls.

I've noticed a difference between reading history books and novels, myself. The history books are like exercising and weightlifting for my brain, and the novels and such are like a nice treat that I eat way too fast. Online reading in passing is like snacking between meals.
