George, you do know that the farmers have weekly grazing schedules, which is pushed by Natural England. 30 sheep one week, 50 sheep for a few weeks, then 100 for 4 weeks, then 5 sheep for two weeks. But you knew this already, Tony, Chris, and Guy have no idea about this. All the same!🤣

Education for you Stocking levels are controlled via Natural England. This is done by financial reward. The DCC doesn't have the financial means to enforce law. The RPA does! Just because u write about Dartmoor doesn't mean you know how it works!

Read ur thread, a bit late to the party, Tony! All the things you've listed are already happening. Through Stewardship and Sustainable Farming. Single payment has stopped. Soon, there will be 20% carbon tax on fertiliser. It won't be you that changes Dartmoor it's already started!
