@ffacrafts.bsky.social I did it! Sort of! First of my miniatures to be plated (albeit spotily) in metal. #diy #miniatures #youcantkillthemetal #slime

Metal painted slime miniature, now partially coated in copper.

It's not going like the tutorials so far, which is to say that nothing is happening. I'll keep at it! But hey silver slime.

How'd my intrusive thoughts get here.

Meanwhile, I painted a @ffacrafts.bsky.social slimefriend in literal silver to try and coat it in ... copper. Hm. #diy #miniaturepainting #chemistry #ihavenoideawhatiamdoing

I don't think of James as a deadname, but of one that deserves rest. He did his best (there is a lot to unpack in that sentence and does not reflect anyone else's trans experience). I went by Evan before (first) puberty and again now. I am a sentimental fool and wonder where this will take me.

Left: me in the early 2000s (think it was around a Styx concert). Right: me recently (sorry for the mild sauce).

Having two distinct social media accounts is stressing the engines at the moment. Hopefully once my move is over I'll have more juice. Speaking of juice! Don't drink this. Probably. #science #chemistry

If they're gonna paint me a transgender monstrosity well that's a foolish and surefire way to get every version of myself to stop antagonizing each other for a minute. Healing my inner universe is easier when it has a common enemy. Have fun with 20s me, fascists. Pin by @noelleevepalmer.bsky.social

Thank youuu~ Honestly without the community here I may have not come out. Ya'll proved (enough of) my fears to be unfounded.

Thought about peppering in my experiences as an openly transgender business owner of two openly queer shops. For reasons of education, perspective, and hope. Something I don't feel safe doing on the other platforms (as LGBTQIA+ posts are getting flagged anyway). #transgender #transbusinessowner

Proof it's me while I figure out this platform. Not going to leave the "other ones" out of spite, mostly, got shops to run and space to take up. #trans #transownedbusiness #generalnerdery #theyshe #lancasterpa
